Locals hustled into this restaurant with its large "salle de manger" (dining room with waitress service) and counter service with spacious tables and chairs. All rooms had bright wondows overlooking the river where migratory birds flitted about in the morning
WE opted for the quicker counter service for breakfast and settled in with a newspaper as our food was freshly cooked. All of our eggs, potatoes and meat were hot and well prepared. Sauces and condiments were offered freely and the coffee was strong.
WE appreciated that we wer the only travelers as the locals greeted eacn other and enjoyed this local restaurant with reasoanbly priced and diverse food

We had a very nice later supper here, and our experience was terrific: very good service, reasonable prices, perfect portion sizes - not huge, just right amount (I hate waste); excellent lasagna, delicious smoked meat (best fries!), good coffee, good house red wine. Very pleasant. We will come back if in area.

We ate here for breakfast and supper and found the food and the service delightful. We had sole one night and it was amazing. Breakfast included extras like fruit and baked beans yum. They have English menus.

Half way between Ottawa and Fredericton, this is our late lunch stop most times. Always reliable and solid food at good prices, the mix of chicken and poet was great although the chicken was a bit over done. Recommended.

This was our first time in this town and we found this property on trip advisor. It was a little difficult to find even the narrowness of the streets but our patients and diligence paid off.
The menu is varied, although there is a predominance of pasta and Italian dishes.
I would highly recommend the Caesar salad and the seafood linguine.
The fish chowder is nothing short of outstanding.
The wine list is adequate and the cote du Rhone is a good choice if you are going to have a red wine.
Desserts are somewhat limited and because they are made in-house they are in somewhat limited quantities.
The staff are, as you would expect, primarily Francophone but they show extraordinary patience towards those whose capacity in French is limited. (There is no English menu – but the same is not hard to figure out).
This property is well worth a visit.

If you are a coffee lover you will love this place. The expresso and cappuccino are excellent. Their pastries are among the best we have everhad and we have been around. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and good service. Excellent.

I found this little restaurant via a Google search as a new visitor in the area.
We were welcomed in by charming Guillaume seemingly the chef and proprietor.
When the poppyseed bread arrived, it was nice and fresh, but it was the soup of the day that got us. It was simply delicious. My husband was served green tea in a small China teapot along with a cute little timer. The main course was a chicken dish, also delicious.
We were extremely impressed with this gourmet bistro.

La fee des glaces was recommended to us by our server at a local restaurant. It was just a few blocks from our motel and we drove there for dessert. Although I did not have anything, my wife and friends enjoyed ice cream and gelato that they found to be exceptional.
