With a group of 18 people we had a marvelous diner at Mitalago. We were sitting in the serre, overlooking Lago di Bolsena. Futtecini al Tartuffo, the best Argentina steak ever, great pizza, good seafood, simply excellent!!
But opposite of the streat is the real restaurant and that is absolutely beautiful Italian style!
We'll come back, absolutely!!

Ate dinner here on a Monday night while walking the Via Franigena. We were the only customers apart from one other table who came in later. Food was very tasty, filling and well cooked.decor is quirky and the host accommodating. The carafe house red is excellent and incredibly cheap. All up for three courses and wine we paid 45 euro for two - very good value.

Delicious really fresh fish, well cooked and at an extremely good price. This place is great value. Pasta with prawns was superb. Seabass was baked with potatoes and onions and cooked to perfection. The special vegetable of the day was stuffed courgette flowers which were light crispy and very tasty. Happy friendly atmosphere and everyone was enjoying themselves. Nice touches of a plate of bruschetta when you sit down and yummy crostada with your coffee. We'll definitely be back. Montefiascone is really worth a visit and Lake Bolsena is nearby.

Eaten here several times with groups and for a wedding. Excellent quality and service - very hospitable lady who speaks English well. Beautiful location on the lake front. Toilets not always clean though and the doors don't lock. Grumpy man at the till but overall an excellent restaurant.

This restaurant is owned and operated by a lovely gentleman who works hard to make everyone feel welcome and satisfied. Making eye contact and speaking clearly easily compensates for a slight hearing impairment. His meals are always delightfully varied and delicious. The house wine is very nice, the pastas are excellent, the pizza is super and there are nice desserts to finish off the meal. .In warm weather you can choose to be served at tables in the piazza for a lovely dining experience. The Trattoria La Fontana is always a pleasure to visit.

This is not a typical tourist restaurant, it is mostly busy with local Italian families enjoying great local food and accompanied by great local "house" wines at particularly low prices. The "Pici" Ragu was especially fine, one of the best Pici we enjoyed in all of Tuscany. We had a delightful young man by the name of Urbando Santo as our waiter. The owner is a social character, who regrettably on our second visit had been celebrating a wedding and obviously had too much to drink.

The dressing is perfect. the temperature of the oven, so the bottom is perfect and the combination of bottom and dressing is perfect. Better then we have eaten in Toscane, Umbrie, Roma, Napoli, Venezia, Chicago and other important Pizza cities

I ate in Montefiascone last minute and didn't have Tripadvisor recommendations but was pleasantly surprised by this trattoria. There were three of us; we ordered an appetizer, grilled chicken, 2 pasta dishes, and a bottle of wine. The quantities were very generous, giving us plenty to share, and the value was amazing; the whole meal cost 35 euro. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
