A 200-year-old lighthouse serves as a beacon for the Long Island town of Montauk, where fishing, beachcombing, kayaking and surfing vie for your attention. Pack a camera and binoculars for seal watching walks in Montauk Point State Park during the winter. Second House, a 1700s cottage built for East Hampton shepherds, adds to the local history. Summer season brings live music to the town's pubs and cafes. Hither Hills State Park provides access to ocean swimming, a 40-acre freshwater pond and camp sites.

You have to try the jelly filled croissants!!! They are to die for but get there early, they run out fast!!!! There is always a line out the door, but worth the wait. We also had a strawberry short cake made there for a birthday, it had to have been the best we had ever had, very fresh, lots of huge strawberries and the cream was real!

Went to naturally good for breakfast and although I was here last year they keep getting better. From the self serve coffee (love it because you don't have to wait to get that quick morning jolt) to the delicious and filling frittata they seem to be like a well oiled machine of healthy and delicious food. Also tried my wife's bagel with lox, served open style, it's just fresh and delicious. Simply love this place. It's a must visit when in Montauk.

Left Hand Coffee is born from the notion that culture is a result of like-minded people who share experiences, values, beliefs, and symbols; doing what they love on a regular basis. At Left Hand, we share the love for nice things - art, creating, reading, cooking, searching, the ocean - and coffee. Enjoy.
This was the first time I have ever stopped in, but always pass by. Our hotel was far away from town and without coffee so we drove in to try this place out. The coffee was very good as I had a mocchino and we ordered an ice coffee. The place is nicely decorated with chairs and a high counter. The coffee was good and the atmosphere was nice. Just a heads up it does take a little while to receive your coffee since they really put that artisan touch on it. Also sizes are on the smaller size so order up!

Serving great burgers and homemade ice cream in Montauk since 1967.
It was late and John's was open. Not the cleanest restaurant I've ever been to. Staff is harried and not friendly. The burgers and fries are OK. Prices are higher than necessary. The ice cream, however, is worth it. We had just plain chocolate and chocolate mint--yummy!

We visited here off-season, on a Saturday night. Our reservation was for 8:15 and when we arrived, the parking area was overflowing. Inside, the place was busy, but not overly noisy. We were seated within a few minutes and were told about the half portions that are offered on the off-season. This turned out to be a good option for our party of 4 since we all ordered completely different dishes. The food arrived promptly and did not disappoint. The prices are what you would expect to pay in this area. It's not what one would consider an intimate restaurant, but since we weren't expecting that, all was good. We hope to be fortunate enough to return here.

We went here for lunch based on the good reviews in TripAdvisor. I had the scallops and french fries for lunch. The scallops were good but those were probably the greasiest french fries I've had in the entire life. The service was also exceptionally abrupt. Just wasn't worth it for what it cost.

Great organic- healthy- and all natural options. Kids enjoyed the frozen yogurt, candy! We visited the SagHarbor location and it is absolutely adorable. Look for it and be sure to visit. Also try their take on "Bubble Tea" the bubbles are made from mago's (no dairy).

Family Run, Fun and energetic scene with Great food and a Great Bar! Outdoor seating right in the Heart of montauk town that is great for people watching, or enjoying all the live music over a drink!
Casual indoor/outdoor restaurant with fantastic seafood. The grilled shrimp appetizer was perfectly cooked and seasoned. And the Scallops entree was excellent. During my stay in Montauk, I had scallops at a fine dining restaurant, a mid-range restaurant and here. Gigshack's scallops were the BEST of all. And the waiter we had was terrific - he gave us just the right amount of attention and served us at just the right speed - not rushing and not making us wait. Will definitely return.

We had the most amazing service from Carmen, who looked after us from when we arrived with great service and even better conversation!
I ordered a salad and jalapeño poppers. Both were super yummy!

This was our first visit to the Muse at the End. The menu is refreshingly different from many of the other stellar Montauk restaurants. We took advantage of the three course prix fixe menu offerings and enjoyed the cauliflower frito appetizer, the grilled pork chops with apple sauce and our delicious desserts.
The restaurant interior is interesting and attractive. The staff is welcoming and very attentive.
