The Living Room lounge bar and restaurant was designed and created to offer an exclusive and unique dinning experience to our guest. Enjoy the early opening hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays with melodic notes from our baby grand piano in any of the four lounges and end the night with classical jazz tunes from the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Betty Carter, John Coltrane and Brad Mehldhau. From Thursdays to Sundays we up our tempo to cool chillout lounge hits. Headed by Chef Rentato, our Sushi is renowned for its freshness and creativity. Our salmon, mackerel and other foreign ingredients being flown in from Brussels weekly while our Tuna, red snapper and other local fish being sourced right here in Liberia from the waters of the Atlantic. The Thai cuisine, headed by Chef Qui is a burst of tropical flavors and colors, maintaining our plates to true and authentic Thai recipes. We also boast the widest wine selection list in Liberia with 26 different wines from more than 8 wine regions in Spain. In addition to our wines we also serve 18 different beers from around the world. We hope you enjoy your dinning experience with us!
As far as Pan Asian Restaurants go in Monrovia, I think Living Room is the best. Set atop the Royal Hotel, the restaurant is well decorated and sports a nice view of the city. The menu is complete with what you'd expect, including some decent shoumai and Pad Thai. Drinks are reasonably priced and the service is very professional.
Highly recommended.

One of the best locations in Liberia for food. Friendly staff and great location. Parking is a bit tight.

If you are new in town this is the place to taste all the authentic Liberian dishes
My favourite was the cassava leaves with bulgar rice.
The plantains and cassava chips make very good starters
Finish off with one of the signature desserts....i love the sweet potato cake and the lemon meringue pie. A must visit

Enjoy beach front gourmet dining right next to the ocean waves or enjoy our newly remodeled indoor dining with air condition. We also deliver. Open 7 days a week: 11am- 11pm.
As far as beachside places go, this is ideally located. Right on the ocean, but just away from the hustle & bustle of the main road.
You want to experience a memorable sunset, then this is THE place!!!
Decent selection of beverages & finger foods. The service though needs an uplift

Based upon my experience at the Cape Hotel Restaurant, I have decided that the fusion of Lebanese and Liberian hospitality overwhelms the capacity of this American's stomach! While the taste makes my mouth want more, my waistband cries for relief. What is my favorite -- the fresh fish? Yes. The pizza? Yes. The homemade cinnamon rolls on the breakfast buffet? Yes. The beef joffa? Another yes. The wine selection? Yes. The service? You better believe it!

I can't find a website for it, but there's a reference here: http://lr.wowcity.com/monrovia/locbus2/17390225870080292415/bishoftu-restaurant.htm
I am not sure if this restaurant was authentic Ethiopian because it did not have many options other Ethiopian restaurants usually have. I heard that only the owner is Ethiopian, but the cook is Liberian.
I had lamb curry with enjira, which I found tasty. I wanted to combine veggies and meat, but they were very inflexible to make it possible. My friends had veggies and also a chicken dish without spice, but they both did not look that great.
A glass of wine was $5, but it was not fresh.
Service was OK, but a bit stiff.
Since there is little choice in Monrovia, it was good to have this restaurant, but there sure is better food in town.

The restaurant has very nice ambience for small or big business meetings and also a very nice bar and lounge if you just need to relax.
The mixed seafood platter is to die for but you must be really hungry to finish this. Never seen a more succulent lobster...
The coffee is a little weak though for coffee addicts like me....but the food makes up for it .and the view...wow.

In the neighborhod where our office is and our guest houses, there are 3 or 4 good options for lunch &/or dinner. Sajj is a dependable place. Service is attentive, lots of good Lebanese food, pizzas and both african and european dishes.

They have excellent wait staffs and their food are just as good as you could want them to be. I have eaten their pizzas and it's the best I have eaten of all the restaurants I have dined at. Their service is excellent and the environment is so cool and natural. To be honest, the place is full of life.
