BYOB New American bistro in a downtown, art-gallery setting. Amazing food and great service. Serving lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch (closed Monday and Tuesday).
I highly recommend this restaurant. Attention to detail and service was excellent. Food was amazing! Turbo liner burger was yummy - angus beef, French fried onion straws, bacon-onion jam, Dubliner cheese. Fries were crispy and Cole slaw was fresh, bright, and crispy. Hubby loved crab cake melt. For dessert, pecan pie cake was perfect - served warm, with whipped cream.

Well, if you’re in the mood for Greek, this might fulfill the need. I myself was disappointed. Portions small and the description on the menu doesn’t match what you get served. For example, I ordered a pork slouvaki... NOPE! Couple of pieces of pork served on a platter, no pita bread... sad!
My partner ordered a chicken panini NOPE! It was a chicken hero...sad!
Would I go there in an absolute emergency- maybe. It’s sad because where they are located has such a limited variety they could really do well. All I can say is give it a try... maybe they have upped their game since I was there.

WOW!!! We went to NY for two days and desperately wanted "real" Italian. We didn't find it there, so I searched for somewhere we could stop at on our way home to Maryland. It was GREAT! I had the tricolor pasta which had eggplant, "pink" sauce, and roasted red peppers. It was AMAZING!! Seriously one of the BEST pasta dishes I have ever had. The fresh mozzarella on the top was SO GOOD. I couldn't believe how good it was. My husband had the ziti and a side of the meatballs. He loved them both (he won't stop raving about the meatballs!). The servings were huge and there was so much sauce (which is so important!). We also had the garlic knots. On top of that, everyone was so friendly and the place was beautiful inside. I wish we had Italian like this in Maryland! Two thumbs up! Seriously - stop here!! (And as a vegetarian, I had a lot of variety to choose from.) :)

Ever since the business was sold, the business has not flourished. They make the same quality products but lack in the amount of product made there.
As an example, and this not the first time it's happened, we called the bakery early this past Saturday to place an order. We were told they didn't have the number of jelly and Boston cream donuts on hand and they weren't making any more. The only had a few breads as well. Tell me how this bakery can stay open if they cannot make enough product to sell?
We like what they make but we can never complete our order. Guess what? We cannot continue with this business practice any more. If you cannot complete our order as requested, we are going to another bakery soon. There is great bakery in Mataram, NJ. It's out of our way but there product and services are very remarkable.

Old Fashioned Goodness! We serve our own Homemade Flavors and Giffords Ice Cream from Maine.
We discovered this little ice cream place on Mother's Day this past May. We'd just had breakfast & once we noticed this ice cream place we couldn't resist as they had very interesting flavors. We now go there just for the ice cream, sometimes we'll have breakfast around the corner & then go straight for the ice cream thereafter, delicious !

Clean, busy and efficient staff. Tables inside and out. A quick beverage and/or a donut or breakfast, lunch and you will do good. Made to order if you prefer no cheese etc. One of the better looking DDs in the area.

There are a few exquisite Italian restaurants in the majors cities across the US that are great. But finding one in central NJ is truly special. The old world atmosphere and limited seating made it feel very home-like and personal. The waitress was delightful and extremely professional in her attention to our meal. The soothing Christmas music was perfect so that everyone could carry a conversation and be heard.
Our family decided to have Christmas Eve dinner here. The menu was surprisingly delightful. We ordered two appetizers- calamari and fried mozzarella. Wow! These were tasty and fresh. Even the mini baguettes and pizza slices with sauce were signs of a great meal.
While we ordered different items from the menu, I ordered veal osobucco, my wife ordered the braised beef. My father-in-law ordered the Bolognese and everyone else ordered shrimp scampi. Each dish was tastier than the other. My veal was so tender, flavorful and delicious. Every bit was a delight. Tasting my wife's dish showed how the chefs could construct a robust beef flavor that complemented the meat. The boldness and rich taste of the Bolognese was not of this world.
After thoroughly enjoying this meal, we decided to find out more about the desserts. Ordering a mango sorbet with raspberry center and covered in white chocolate was over the top. There home-made cheesecake was even better. How is this possible?
If you dine here just know parking is limited for handicapped people. We were lucky when a space opened up near the main entrance. This place must be experienced by all. Bon appetito.

We usually go with friends since we all really like Romeos. Service is about average for your local Italian restaurant but the food and price are really good. My favorites are chicken parmesan and amazingly spaghetti and meatballs. Salads are good and bread it very good.

we catered a party for 55 for $400 for all the food and fixings. Everyone loves the tuna, whitefish, salmon salads. They have more bagel varieties than anyone else. (French Toast, chocolate chip, blueberry) they have Boars Head cold cuts, a grill for eggs and hot sandwiches, muffins, wide selection of beverages, lots of baked goods, fresh fruit, and so much more.
Definitely bigger and better than your typical bagel store. Try it for a party or just a sandwich. I loved the food and the value.

While in Jamesburg NJ we were wanting Mexican food and saw that Taqueria Maria's got great reviews so we decided to go for dinner.
It's a small restaurant in residential area and I'm guessing it was someone's home at one time. The "food" sign outside is about as big as the restaurant with 6 tables inside and space for 4 more to sit at the bar to eat. While the place may be small, the portions were big as were the flavors.
Everything was made to order using fresh ingredients. Our party had a chicken burrito bowl, verde enchiladas, and chicken empanadas. All were delicious and flavorful; the freshest Mexican food I've ever had (and I've had my share).
Chips and salsa were provided as well. The chips were ok, not many of them, and not as fresh as the other food served, but the 2 salsa were delicious. One was the color of tomato soup, not chunky or spicy but a good taste. The second was green and chunky with a bit of a kick. Wish we were given more of each kind, they were both very good.
