At Waller's, we think the most fun is had on the waterfront. Offering the most unique dining experience the lake has to offer, we use all-natural, farm-to-table ingredients to serve seafood, burgers, BBQ, and more. Grab some drinks with friends, or bring the kids for some good food and a game of ping pong. We take pride in our work, and we're all about making sure you enjoy every second spent with us. Stop on by and get ready for some fun and culinary delights!
We enjoyed a nice afternoon at Wallers. Service much better than a previous visit, but here it's Lake-time so sit back, relax, and enjoy the atmosphere. We had delicious cocktails and beer with tasty nachos and wings. So nice to see the owner and (presumed) manager making the rounds to check in on customers satisfaction.
Loved the tiki bar feel with acoustic music playing outback. Out front visitors can play corn-hole.
Looking forward to our next trip to Wallers!

Along with the regular DQ menu they also serve French toast for breakfast. This is the best F.T. you will try and is equal to expensive restaurant fair. I don't usually praise fast food restaurants, but this DQ is spotless, the staff is friendly and the food is pretty good for a fast food chain ... and to boot you can't go wrong with their $5.00 meal which includes a sundae.

I wanted to pick up a decent cup of coffee NOT from a gas station and TA steered me towards here. Of course it was tricky to find, but I took a pic so future visitors will know what to look for, the General Store.
Coffee was pretty good, breakfast sandwich (salty pork, I think called Taylor Ham?, looked like bologna) was good, although all I really wanted was a country ham biscuit and they had no country ham and no biscuits. Oh well. Id go back to try lunch as they had several good options on the menu.

The Copper Kettle Co. is a family friendly restaurant on the beautiful Smith Mountain Lake in Hardy, VA. We have a diverse menu with a little something for everyone. We are committed to providing great food and excellent service to everyone who comes through our doors.
My husband and I just ate at the Copper Kettle restaurant for dinner this evening, and the food and service are amazing! We've been to most restaurants on the lake, and this is our new number one favorite! We loved the delicious fresh bread basket (yummy sweet rolls and honey cornbread), the pasta dishes we ordered were so flavorful and great portion sizes (we had to take some home!). Then we tried one of their fruit cobblers in a mason jar (had the apple) for desert, and it just melts in your mouth! The food is is truly gourmet, and there is not other restaurant like this on the lake (you can boat or drive here)! The menu and pricing are great too! The staff were so sweet and friendly! We can't wait to come back! Thank you Copper Kettle!

Small restaurants are a hit and miss proposition. What you need to know about the Old Oak Cafe is that they are dedicated to making the locals feel welcome. That means warm service and reliable food at fair prices.
We visited with family as out of towners. The place is not fancy but it is tastefully decorated. Our server, due with her own baby in a few months, was as sweet as could be. My folks recommended the fish and my mother and I had the seafood combination. The fish was lightly breaded and cooked to perfection. The Mac n cheese as a side dish was delicious.
At the end of dinner, as our party began to leave, my 15 month old daughter visited the Christmas tree set up just inside the entrance. We were then informed by the staff that several gifts placed under the tree were real, and our little girl could have one if she wished. We were blown away by the thoughtfulness of the gesture, even if we declined in favor of letting another family’s little one take advantage of this awesome bit of hospitality!
If I return to Virginia, I definitely intend on returning to this great restaurant again!

We stopped in here for an ice cream cone after dinner. The ice cream is good quality. You can get sprinkles added. I had mine on a sugar cone. The ice cream shop is connected to the pizza place behind it. I haven't tried it...MoreThanks for the review KNCASS, You should try the pizza place out sometime!

Tons and tons of ice cream flavors are available here. Add that it's at Bridgewater Plaza near the miniature golf course, it's a winner for the family. (It helps that it's air conditioned after playing in the hot, hot sun.)

Food at Vinny's is always good --- service sometimes not so much. Gone there for lunch several times and the waitress we seem to get has trouble handling a couple of orders at once. Still - we keep going back!

I eat lunch here at least once per month. This last week I had a roast beef sandwich. It was very good. The view from here of the lake is nice. The staff are great. The place is clean, and it is in the plaza where there's other stuff to do. I recommend it.

We have over 39 flavors of soft serve ice cream. We offer shakes, malts, sundaes, banana splits, snow cones(sugar free option also), and flurries. We are located in Downtown Moneta off of Route 122(Moneta Rd) just north of Smith Mountain Lake.
We have been here for two weeks and kids go almost every night. they have like 32 flavors of soft serve. Super nice young servers. I am not big ice cream eater, but I must admit I am hooked on their small twist cones.Thank you for your kind review! We are glad you enjoyed your visit and look forward to serving you again.
