No cherry or butterscotch dip! The main reason I go to Dairy Queen. But the service is pretty good. The staff is typically friendly.

Nice upscale atmosphere, food expensive, VERY MEDIOCRE. Pasta dish with cream tomato sauce, tasted like Campbells canned cream of tomato soup over penne, two boring average-sized meatballs (paid $4.00 extra) and a limp lettuce salad with very average ranch dressing. Ordered bread basket for $1, received 2 thin silver dollar sized pieces of french bread. Husband says chicken fried steak was not as good as Huddle House. Again served with limp lettuce salad, a few tomato pieces, 2 cucumber slices. Large serving of mashed potatoes and gravy. $35.00!! Definitely NOT WORTH THE COST. We won't be back for dinner. Perhaps we'll try lunch.

Pappy's is only open until about 5:00. Limited menu and, even so, you're not guaranteed that they'll have what you want. When I stopped in, brisket and ribs were gone, settled for chicken and sausage (both very good). Corn bread gone, beans good but not great. Will definitely be back, hopefully earlier in the day.

Was quite surprised by this place. Don't let the modest appearance fool you - you should eat here. I had the chicken fried steak and it was great. My daughter had the chicken fried chicken and it was great. Sides were very good. While somewhat unconventional the service came with a smile. It's a little pricey - but in a town this size it won't matter when you've enjoyed it as much as we did.

While Monahans may not typically be a stopping off point when driving along I-20, Fermins gives one a very good reason to pause and eat! On a trip to Arizona from Dallas, I stopped here and ordered the Chicken Fajitas, and I knew it would be good when I saw a full parking lot on a Tuesday evening. I was not disappointed. Food was fresh, tasty, and exactly how fajitas should be served. This is worth getting off the highway for!

I had a wonderful Coney and it was delivered hot and fast. When I got confused with the amount, change and a tip, the carhop and I just had a good laugh! Thank goodness for young people with a sense of humor when they serve food!

Not sure how we found this place, but it is a winner. We had several excellent breakfast burritos, and bought a bag of a dozen flour tortillas to go, which we enjoyed over the next couple of days in a variety of ways. Great fillings, super flour tortillas, and friendly folks. Not sure if or when I'll be back through Monahans but if I am I'll definitley be eating here!

Stopped in while heading homeward on our Big 2016 Road Trip. The staff greeted us as we came in, and the service was very good, in spite of the fact it was rather busy at the time. Food was very good (again).

Asked for a cheeseburger with grilled onions and was told that the cook does not grill onions for anyone. I asked why? The gal at the counter said because he owns the place and he does not grill onions. I told her it takes about 20 seconds and she said that the owner refuses to grill onions for anyone. I told her he did not need my business and to have a real nice day! I would go to a place that was happy to have our business!

We travelled here to watch a high school basketball game. By the time the game was over, this was the only non fast food establishment still open. The food was not bad, but it really wasn't good either. I got a burger that was overdone and had a funny taste too it. Might have been some liquid smoke. My husband got a chicken-fried steak that was very hard for him to eat. It was very tough and he said it had little flavor. We did get some fried onions as an appetizer and those were very good, but it was a very big serving. Way more than two people could eat, so be prepared for that. The food was not inedible, and the service was very good. We saw some other customers get steaks that looked very good. The place was clean and the food came out in a timely manner. I think for where this place is, it was a good experience. I'm just not going to go out of my way to eat there again. If you are hungry and driving through town, not a bad place. I would definitely not recommend their burgers though.
