I went to Kretchmar's to pick up treats for the family. I purchased 2 Cake Donuts, 2 Glazed Donuts, an Apple Turnover, a Cherry Turnover, a loaded Oatmeal Cookie, a small Pepperoni and Cheese Croissant, and a large Spinach and Feta Croissant. I was shocked by the total...nearly $17! Granted it is Beaver...but still.
The cookie and the cake donuts were good, not great, but good. The glazed donuts were heavy and you could taste the yeast in them. Also, it was a sugar glaze, but I could taste maple in the glaze. Either they were sitting on the same tray, or someone did a poor job of cleaning the equipment. The Croissants were better, but still not quite right. The turnovers were awful! Dense, cakey, not flakey and crisp like a turnover should be. They were downright soggy and the filling was out of a can. For the amount of money they charge, you would think they quality would be better.
For my money...I'll stick with Oram's!

Biba is an upscale, seasonal Latin restaurant. The menu continually changes because it is based on the freshest ingredients that are currently in season. Biba focuses on using local ingredients and vendors. All of the food is fresh and made to order. The chef/owner, Jason Benegasi, is constantly coming up with new and innovative menu ideas influenced by South America, Central America and the Caribbean.
Picked this spot based on Trip Advisor commentary, website and one personal recommendation. Valentine's Day menu included four outstanding flights with only the main course to decide upon. Everything was fabulous. My wife couldn't take the pepper flakes in the salad dressing, but she still loved dinner overall. I requested a non-Pork second course (off menu) and got an amazing empanada!!
BYOB and come prepared for a unique ,high quality, generous quantity dining experience.

The entrance road to the restaurant is a little difficult to find, tucked in beside the neighboring hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I chose the seafood platter which I thought was very good indeed. Everything tasted fresh and wasn’t over cooked. I regretted choosing the truffle fries because although they tasted good, they didn’t go well with seafood. All in all I thought it was good value, and I’m sure I will go back sometime soon.

You can keep your Krispy Kremes and any other donut you care to mention. Oram's donuts in Beaver Falls, PA are amazing. I've had donuts around the world, and nothing touches them. The cream in their cream-filled donuts is unlike any other, and the cinnamon rolls are heaven in a donut box. If you've never had Oram's, I feel sorry for you.

Advertised as a Mexican Restaurant, I was very disappointed to find it is really a hamburger and ice cream place with no inside seating. Their frozen custard and icecream are supposed to be delicious but, we didn't go there for those items!

We come here for the battered fried fish, You get a great plateful, and it is usually beautifully cooked. You can be unlucky however, and have some rather dry twice-fried offering. There's a grand list of beers. You have to know where it is, to find it though. It is not immediately obvious from the street.

Enjoyed the draft craft beers, good selection and reasonably priced. Great rubin sandwich. Beer cave was well stocked, but over priced.

Made the reservation via their website; simple and efficient. I enjoyed an awesome martini with the appetizers scallops with wild mushrooms and an order of fresh oysters with a homemade cocktail sauce and horseradish, excellent! My wife enjoyed the surf and turf and myself the grouper. Great meal
All the way from start to finish. You will have a good experience.

Texas Roadhouse is a steak restaurant providing legendary food with legendary service. Texas Roadhouse specializes in hand-cut steaks, fresh-baked bread, fall-off-the-bone-ribs, and made-from-scratch sides. We also serve ice cold beer and legendary margaritas. Treat your family and friends to a night at Texas Roadhouse.
Typical Roadhouse layout but very good food and service. Recently had
their roasted chicken and it was very good as well. Very courteous and professional
staff. Standard prices. Excellent cold beers as well. We have not had much of anything there that we did not like. Go early as this place gets crowded most every evening.

It doesn't matter when you go to Brusters, great ice cream awaits you. Besides 20 or more flavors, some exotic, they have sundaes, sodas, banana splits, ice cream cakes, etc., etc.
I took my grandchildren there the other day and every one of them were delighted with their ice cream.
Their servers are great, too.
With the exception of major holidays, Brusters is open all year long!
