I've been coming here for years. The personable service I receive from Sandy and her husband is very warming. Sandy remembers my preferences every time I order and always had time for a quick chat. The food quality is good and prices the same.

Been here many times and love the fish here. Friendly staff and good service. I recommend this restaurant. If you are staying at Moe Comfort Inn then you can order Room Service from Rookies.

Went here for lunch and they have 12 different meals for $12. I had the chicken schnitzel which was good. There is also a bar with TAB and big screen TV. Would recommend to others.

Turn Back Time Cafe is a breath of fresh air with a retro look, owned and operated by two local sisters. It is located in Moe's CBD and is focused on bringing back the "Good old fashioned food and friendly service!"
Must mention the coffee first, it is top class, in flavour and well made. Breakfast of bacon and eggs good plateful. Nothing fancy, but did not want or expect anything fancy. Again plenty of options, and well cooked... one of the best breakfasts in the Latrobe valley.

Very friendly waitress made the occasion for my 100 year old Mum by making a coffee with a big "C" for Century on the top. I've been here a few times and it's a very popular and pleasant place on a corner. A big step at the entrance means this isn't wheelchair accessible but there are tables outside if the weather is fine.

I've eaten here twice now, in consecutive weeks.
The lunch menu is well priced, fresh and filling. I've really enjoyed the chicken salad and vegetarian salad they offer, every mouthful was great.
Friendly staff, great service.
It's a bit more expensive than eating at a takeaway or fast food joint for lunch. However, the food is much nicer and you walk out satisfied.

Tucked away from view , the name would suggest something else , you might even walk by and not notice it. Thank goodness for Google search. The breakfast was amazing and the staff were too. Talk to the locals and it very slim pickings in Moe,so we were happy to find a quality cafe . We would have went there on the Monday but unfortunately they were closed .

Yes I have eaten here many times. But credit where credit is due. The past week has been the bomb. Friday night starts a new Special Menu, this week the Chicken Mignon looked great. Oh my yes it was amazing. Moist, well presented. Wanting to try again as these specials are only for a week we returned last Monday with friends. Again amazing, but I forgot to have chips on side, I hate soggy chips. Then Tuesday lunch an old fav Seniors Chicken Parma, great size for lunch, & moist. An unexpected night of overload od patrons could mean not as hot as I like, but overall, no probs. PS love you can order Banjos Fri night in the Raffle night members lounge, and maybe win.

It is by far the best coffee in Moe, no question. The staff are friendly and efficient, food is good. One big NO NO in my book - let's them down. When you are eating and drinking it is the worse thing ever to have a staff member come to the table next to you and start spraying some strong smelly cleaner onto the table, and proceed to clean. This is very bad practice, and needs to be rectified, this totally puts you off your food/drink.

We welcome to you to "MOE MASALA" distinctly royal restaurant where the mystique flavorurs of the ancient Maharaja's blends with the innovation of modern cuisine to create a culinary experience that will only enhance your taste buds but also ignite your senses.
A large group of us (14 people) ate here tonight and I have to say I was very impressed. I have eaten a lot of Indian and this has to be in the top three Indian restaurants I have eaten at anywhere.
The owner / chef is involved, incredibly courteous, and you can tell he takes great pride in his work. You can tell they use very high quality ingredients.
Of course, I had to do some quality control and sample some of the different dishes on offer. The Mango Chicken was fabulous. Butter chicken great. The goat was absolutely incredible. I have no idea how he gets it so tender.
I recommend the coconut rice and pretty much anything else. Of course, you have to get the naan (i liked the plain ones), and try the pappadums.
Will definitely be back next time I am in town to visit family.
Best of all... the average ticket was under $20 per person.
