After waiting 45 minutes for food the burgers were so burnt they tasted like ash. They were tiny sliders and our kids did not finish them because they were so bad. The pork loin sandwich was paper thin and grease laden. The beef steak was also cooked to ash on one side and the sides were all wrong. There was one poor waitress trying to take care of the full restaurant. She said they were having computer problems. None of our experience was her fault. She was friendly, hardworking and gave us a discount for the terrible food.

Friends drove me up to have Friday night dinner at this place, a lovely little road trip from Omaha. Strictly casual bar and restaurant, with a nice selection on their menu. Friday night special is bar-b-q ribs and they are fresh, nicely seasoned and very tender. They come with 2 sides. I chose to have the butterfly shrimp dinner, with a salad and French fries. Service is quick and friendly, the food is fresh and hot, and come with a roll, salad dressings are homemade. Other sides include baked beans, sweet potato fries, baked potato, onion rings, and various other selections. There's a kids menu, so everyone can find something to fit the bill. And the bill...quite moderate for the quantity and quality of the food. Plan a little road time and enjoy a great meal. They also have a full bar.

I took my two young boys with me to have lunch on a Sunday afternoon. It's located anywhere from 35 to 50 minutes Northeast of Omaha off of I-29, just a little North of Missouri Valley. I had the chicken sandwich, my 13 year old had the shrimp basket, and my youngest had a cheeseburger. All of it was simply delightful! The price was very good. Stacy herself is the cook, and is just an awesome person. She serves breakfast all day, and takes all forms of payment. It was worth the Sunday drive for lunch!

This is the "Place"! The first time eating at this establishment and I was very impressed. The selection of items on the menu are many, the service and friendliness of the staff was welcoming. Probably had one of the best burgers I've eaten in a long time. It differently was a hand patted hunk of meat that had never been frozen. Topped off with cheese, grilled onion and a "walk through the kitchen" made this a real treat after spending many hours on the road. If you enjoy having a good cold brew with your meal the selection is there for your liking. And yes, Pam, at the Hillside Cottage suggested that we try this place. Thank You Pam!

I enjoy Chinese food from Denver to L'ville & right here in Mo. Valley is the best! They serve the best Crab Rangoon - I get hungry just thinking about them.

Sat night special was prime rib and that was very good, vegetables were so so. I went late so maybe that is why. The waitress was super active serving all the customers, couldn't have asked for more.

What can I say? Pizza Ranch can be found everywhere in Iowa and other places. This one was nice because it was a bit smaller and the local staff was adorable to visit with. We were starving, so having buffet available was nice. Always thankful for food prepared with love.

Not a DQ, but a drive up or walk up sandwich and soft ice cream joint to relish. The soft ice cream has the creaminess of the 1950's. Loose meat sandwich is near legendary. It is a "Gotta Go " kinda place . IHG, Rube

We stopped by after arriving at the Omaha airport. Kinda tricky getting into the parking lot, but it was worth it. I tried the taco burger, it is not really a burger, but taco fixings on a bun, very tasty. My tacos looked like real ground beef was used and you can taste the difference. I would stop here again if I was ever in the area.

This bar is fun! You and your friends can sit down here and really enjoy yourself. They have darts, pool table and Jenga! The bathrooms have been remodeled and are very clean. Friendly bar staff and a great selection of spirits and beer.
