After visiting the Mir Castle we went to the adjacent restaurant. We had some local dishes. The dessert (baked apple and cake) was good. Great cappuccino. The service was fast, friendly and efficient. Only worth visiting if you are also visiting the castle.

It was great choice to come here. We were very tired and hungry after visiting Mirskiy's castle. Also it was very cold weather, and we need to reheat ourselfs. We got excelent home mede belorusian meal. And we warmed by belorusian drink "Karambambulja" - be sure to try it.

You can hardly avoid certain expectations when visiting the only restaurant in a medieval castle. In our case the place did reasonably below the expected. There is no medieval entourage nor atmosphere felt in the place and the foods are not too exciting as well. So this place works well as a generic diner serving traditional Belarusian cuisine but disappoints as the only restaurant inside the old castle. The good thing is that the place is not too pricey: we had a bill of ~$40 for three adults and a child. The bad thing is that nearest WC is outside and 100 meters away. Also, you have to go to the bar if you want to pay by card (which is weird).

We were group of about 12 cyclists, hungry and impatient :) And in this Cafe they managed to serve everything in time. I guess just one table got another coffee they didn't order, but that's quite possible in such conditions. The food is tasty, service is good, prices are average and the place in general is good for having a relaxing pause in the middle of a hot day.

Планируя поездки я всегда стараюсь распланировать, что мы будем смотреть и где есть, т.к. времени всегда не очень много. Ресторан Мирский посад находится при одноименной гостинице, понравился мне по меню и по ценам, есть мы планировали в нем, хотя жили в гостинице при Мирском замке. Первым рестораном, в который мы попали был так же ресторан при замке, но вечером мы целенаправленно отправились в Мирский посад.
Зал уютный, но когда мы пришли ближе к ужину, его готовили к завтраку для постояльцев гостиницы: убирали, пылесосили... Кухня: порции меньше чем в замке, цены тоже, так что получается то на то, вот только все блюда, которые мы брали были ОЧЕНЬ жирными, даже мой муж, который любит все пожирнее, сказал, что это перебор (брал мясо в горшочке). Сервис не навязчивый, под конец официантка пыталась общитать, но возможно это была случайность...
Вывод: мы совершенно зря шли в этот ресторан, ничего кроме разочарования мы не получили. Но это сугубо мое мнение, про ресторан в замке, который нам очень понравился тоже есть много не очень хороших отзывов
