Milopotas or Mylopotas (Greek: Μυλοπότας) is a small settlement located on the Greek island of Ios. Although the population of Milopotas is just 120 people, during the summer season many tourists visit Milopotas to enjoy the beach and stay in one of the resorts nearby. Also in Milopotas there are many night clubs and a lot of young tourists pass their time there.

We ordered moussaka, stuffed zucchini and garlic cheese bread! Absolutely delicious! Authentic home made Greek food with sensible sized servings. Our meal with a large bottle of water and 500 mls of local red wine cost just over EUR 30. Bookings essential. In July and August you need to book at least 2 days in advance. In September, we booked during the morning for an evening meal. We saw people turned away at night that did not have bookings. Wonderful, friendly service! Superb outlook over the water. Modern architecture, comfortable seats and a great vibe. Highly recommended!

Harmony Mexican Restaurant located in a hacienda-style house seemly carved out of the rock face with a breath-taking 300 degree view of Mylopotas beach and the Aegean Sea on a little Island called Ios. Harmony is the number one Mexican restaurant in the Greek Islands with a menu full of rich, delectable flavours of Mexican cuisine made by our internationally trained chefs using fresh local produce. Diners are encourage to come early and stay late in the lower 'Little Thailand' area which includes bean bags, bocci games, backgammon and stairs cut into the cliff side for when a refreshing dip in the ocean is needed. We pride ourselves on our family ethos and all round good vibes that we try and share with everyone who comes to visit us. The famous bikini and board short wearing staff are always on hand to deliver fun, friendly and informative service. People always ask, "What is it that makes Harmony so special?" Quite simply, it's the people! Everyone who visits Harmony leaves a little bit of themselves behind. A bit of laughter, a bit of soul and a whole lot of fun. Book ahead or just walk in, but be prepared to call this place home. Welcome to Harmony, Welcome Home.
This was one of the best meals I had while traveling around the Cyclades. Quality Mexican fare in a fabulous location washed down with great cocktails. The cocktails are graded from fruity to spicy and they match up well. When you're finished with the cocktails you can always try a bucket of gin...
The food is great and the devil sauce is well worth a try but don't underestimate it. It starts off slow and then burns long and strong. The bar also had live music throughout the evening which was a lovely addition and unusual in Greece.

Cantina Del Mar brings a new concept to Ios island, a beach bar that does real sandwiches, fresh wraps, Veg-Fruit Smoothies & the famous Cantina's Breakfast.. Situated right on the main beach overlooking the bay of Mylopotas the most famous and crowded on Ios. The intimate Bar is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a cool cocktail such as caipirinha or Mojito or even just to enjoy an extra cold beer on a hot summers day. Every evening you can relax to the greatest chillout tunes the island has to offer.
We visited here in May, and returned in September. Cantina offers a wide menu, with lots of snacks and also bigger eats. We only stopped for some baguettes/toasties, but they were really delicious, great prices, and excellent service. Ideal if you're on the beach for the day or want something quick to eat.

Located in the heart of Ios Village, our restaurant is ready to spoil you with the great taste in food, music and the large variety of our wine list.
Food was well prepared and very good. We arrived 10 minutes early for our 8:30 reservation and the place was empty. We were a little worried. By 9:00 it was packed and people were being turned away in droves. Food was really tasty, families are welcome, service was good and the live jazz duo made it a magical night. So good we went back for a second meal.

Really surprised how busy this restaurant was as it was closed when we arrived at 7-30pm and we had to queue when we returned at 8-15pm. The food was to tepid for my liking maybe because it was so busy.

This restaurant is right on the waters edge and has a romantic feel. The waiter was nice and also helpful. The cheeseboard starter wasn't very nice at all to be honest, but the tzakiki was good and the grilled octopus was really nice as well! I had the grilled prawns for main and my partner had the fruitti Di mere. Both were good.

I went with a Greek friend. We ordered the roast goat and roast lamb, both of which were well done albeit simple, without much seasoning. They would be better with tzaziki or another salsa. The warm sesame crusted feta with honey is delicious. The Greek salad is delicious. The house red wine is light and goes well with the meat dishes and doesn't put you to sleep on a hot day.

Enjoyed a lovely meal here. Waiting staff are all Italian and were very friendly and attentive. Pizza baked in stonebake oven and their bruschetta was very tasty! Got a nice sunset view here and enjoyed watching the world go by at it's front row port location!
