Escargot, Steak Frites, French onion soup and on and on and on.
All the greatest French-y type hits.
Food is quite good. Good wine list.
French onion soup was delicious as were salads and escargot.
Steak was very good - but could have gotten to table from grill a little quicker. Mussels were good. Lamb was a little over cooked, duck was delicious.
Desserts were strong. Servers were pleasant, attractive and super nice to the kids.
Restaurant is small, feels intimate.
I'm guessing this is the best restaurant in Millbrook.
I'd be happy to go again.

Every item on the menu is cooked in brick oven over natural wood.We have excellent steaks, seafood and poultry. Also serving delicious home made desserts.
A friend recommended this place as I would be in the area @ Orvis. The food was good and reasonably priced. The service was also good. The beer menu needs some updating. A few true IPAs would be good start. I will certainly return.

Riding our motorcycle through Millbrook we decided to stop at the Millbrook Diner for coffee. Great old time stainless steel club car style diner. Typical lunch counter food and old Bunn coffee maker but satisfying for simple fare.

A culinary experience in Millbrok Hunt Country. Come sit in our garden and sip a Mango Margarita or a wine from our Award Winning Wine Cellar and Enjoy the Magic! Private Party Rooms Available.
Charlotte's eclectic atmosphere and homey feel avoid being overwhelming or claustrophobic given the actual property is substantial. The menu offers a good mix of familiar American standards with seafood being a standout. Surprising for a $$$$ level restaurant, the star of the dessert menu is a collection of scrumptious and creative homemade ice creams. Service on a quiet December night was attentive and welcoming keeping with the overall theme. In short, the area works hard to bill itself as a wine trail destination but realistically you are going to have to seek out this property for its own charms.

Babettes has the greatest soups, salads, smoked salmon, cheeses, bakery items.
I could go on and on. Delicious coffee, pies, croissants, muffins, etc. All homemade.
It's a tiny little place with few tables. In the nice weather seating is available outside on the sidewalk. Millbrook is a charming town so sitting outside is a bonus.
I love this little gold nugget. Every town should have one!

Several coworkers went to Maura's Kitchen for Happy Hour. A few drink and food specials were available. Our bartender was very personable. The appetizers we ordered were all delicious. We will return again in the future.Thank you Diane. Always a pleasure to read reviews like this. Can't wait to have you back!

Seasonal American cuisine, oysters, cocktails and sustainable wines
We visited Canoe Hill on Sunday night of Labor Day weekend. It's tucked away just off the main drag (Franklin Ave.) The menu had only 4 entrees, but they offered many small plates. My girlfriend and I opted to share the succulent chicken entree (it was very tasty!) and we ordered several small plates that we also shared. This was a nice experience as we got to sample many different flavors. Hats off to the chef! The Bruschetta and Burrata were great and so was the polenta with sunny egg. The menu changes daily, but I don't think you can go wrong. The atmosphere was pleasant, not too noisy, lots of activity, the restaurant was doing a good business. The service was good, too, the wait staff was very attentive constantly refilling our water glasses and answering all our questions regarding the menu. Go early, we went late and they were out of a number of menu offerings. Bon appetit!

Fabulous prepared food and downtown style breakfast and lunch dining. New generation old Mabbetsville Market patronized by the same crowd of polo players, farmers, weekenders in Range Rovers and tweedy locals in boots. Highest quality local produce. Open kitchen. Massive espresso machine.

Our trips to Innisfree are generally preceded by a visit to the Millbrook Deli for sandwiches. It's your basic, quality deli fare. It's reasonably priced and convenient to Innisfree Garden.

In the tiny town of millbrook, ny near....well, not much, is this delightful local restaurant and market with very fresh food that truly delights the eye, stomach and pocket book. We took our two grand daughters, ages 3 & 5, and there was plenty to choose from. We ordered a two hamburgers, salmon sandwich and Turkey club. No way to finish everything so guess what's for dinner.
Very casual; order at the counter and they bring it to your table.
If you are traveling on the taconic and pass the millbrook or Clinton corners exit (mile marker 60) - get off and it's only about 10 minutes.
A charming town to walk. Great bookstore and beautiful park and more. A great day trip from NYC and environs to combine with rhinebeck..
