Had another great experience at the Ship Inn. Although it is being sold and they did not have some of their advertised beers, the food was good and we had a great time.

We go to the other OWOWCOW in Newtown also. Both have amazing flavors, like the blood orange raspberry, lemon blueberry, cashew caramel, 3 types of vanilla and so many other flavors. The ingredients are locally sourced. It is just the best ice cream I have ever tasted. So fresh and delicious!

General store serves great breakfast fare, fresh made sandwiches and yummy coffee which they roast on-site. It is becoming a must stop for local bikers (motorized as well as pedal driven) from around the area and beyond.
I love Homestead Coffee. I buy the five pound bags from the general store or I pick up the 12oz bags when I see it. The fact that this place does a lot of things right is why it has found its niche as a successful general store in upper Bucks County. Pull in, pull up a seat, and people watch in one of the most welcoming atmopsheres around.
Love coffee? Homestead has expanded beyond the general store into the barn to be a premuim coffee bean roaster. In perfect conditions, the roasting smell wafts onto River Road. It's beautiful. They also have cold pressed coffee in bottles and growlers as well as nitro coffee on tap. It's a great place for any coffee lover.
Love ice cream? They serve Nelson's Pennsylvania Dutch ice cream. They take care of those with a sweet tooth by making sundaes and milkshakes.
Hungry? They also serve food. The grill serves up anything from breakfast plates to hoagies and sandwiches in the afternoon. Is there anything else needed for your stay?
Finally the knick-nacks for sale add to the coziness of the place. I love going here in all seasons. It's nice to sit on the patio out back in the summer. It's warm and inviting in the winter with the spinning barber poll and neon signs. It's enviable in the fall with their tea and coffee room. And who doesn't love the prospect of spring by admiring the bird houses and candlesticks for sale while sipping Dead Mans Brew?
This is definitely worth the stop, even if you're passing through. I go out of my way to stop at Homestead General Store. You should too. If I consider fifteen miles out of the way for coffee acceptable, what's your excuse if you're just passing by?

From their opening day in April there will always be a line at this local favorite fast food and ice cream establishment. Service is fast and food very good. Staff is local too so everyone gets to know everyone. Lots of picnic table seating in a picturesque country setting. Good fun for all the family.

Early Bird is a relatively new coffee shop in the heart of Frenchtown and definitely worth a visit. Freshy brewed coffee, quality teas, and light snacks! In addition there are some unique foodstuffs and gift type items for sale.
The staff is pleasant and highly competent; the décor is spare and clean...stop in for a real treat.

On a recent afternoon drive up 611 we were so surprised to see that the Reigelsville Tavern was now Bowman's North. We absolutely love the Bowman's Tavern so we decided to stop. There were many positive changes to the decor however the greatest change was the menu. What an improvement! We sat at a high top at the bar so we could watch the Eagles game. The Turkey BLT and fries we ordered was large enough to share. We enjoyed our beers and food very much. Our servers were very friendly even though they were quite busy. The one thing that hasn't changed is the large number of noisy motorcycles that stop here on sunny weekends. We no longer sit outside for that reason.

We make the hour long trip a few times a year specifically for the Arugula pie. The pizza here is ALL top notch and I'll usually sample a one or two but the Arugula is the one we take home.

As you enter the bakery, you get a great smell of baked sweet goods. The bakery has a variety of pastries, not an overwhelming amount of items, but enough to choose from. Everything looked great! We had the chocolate tart filled with chocolate mouse and whipped cream. Outstanding! Not much to do in Milford, but if you re crossing the Delaware in Milford stop by to pick up some desserts.
Only one drawback, no quality coffee to choose from. I Will definitely return.
