We found this restaurant which is just off the beaten track but well within walking distance of the main town (less than a few minutes). Well worth the trip to experience the incredible views.
Excellent wine, good mains and great desserts. Service was a little slow but actually made up for by the kindness and professionalism of the service staff. I would go again for the incredible views of Fuenguerola!

From the 1st of November till the April we welcome you from 11:00AM till 6:00PM.
We have visited Mijas twice this trip, a lovely hillside town above the Costa del Sol. Beautiful panoramic views from Bar Oscar! On each occasion we were served by a dark haired gentleman who gave me the impression he could well be the owner or a member of the family! First time there he forgot my friend’s crepe order,no apologies, an aloof demeanour! Giving him the benefit of the doubt we went back two days later. Same guy served us. Very haughty welcome! This time he forgot my apple pie!! When I enquired he was most rude in his response, no apology and no assurance as to when I may receive my order. No apologies when the pie arrived! It was busy, but, how long does it take to cut a piece of pie? The blond female staff member who is very nice indeed could give him some lessons in customer service! My advice to him would be, if he doesn’t like waiting tables perhaps he could clean the water Fountain!! If we do go back again to Mijas again we shall certainly go elsewhere for refreshments!!

We went there twice in one week, and since we NEVER do that, this means a lot. Would recommend this place to everyone. Small restaurant but very cosy interior, great and helpful staff, good prices and delicious tapas. Try the truffles for postre, you won’t be disappointed

We visited here on the strength of the reviews we had read and we were not disappointed. We booked a table by E mail & it was ready waiting for us. The food was the best we have tasted in Mijas & would rival any U.K. Curry. We had chicken sizzler with mushroom rice & Tara dhal . We will definitely be booking to come here again on our next trip . A must to visit

Located in the turistic center of Mijas pueblo, We're waiting for you !!
We were in Mijas Pueblo during February which was quiet but great to find Koco where we received a warm welcome and enjoyed tapas. Can recommend the aubergine with goats cheese which was delicious. Good food & reasonable prices.
Also had cake of the day for desert which was good.

We called in for breakfast as we usually do when we are staying in Mijas. It was as we have always found it, very clean with pleasant staff. The breakfast was very good and can recommend here for a good English breakfast.I had the 3.95 Euro Breakfast which was just enough for me.

Santiago's Kitchen is located in the heart of the old town in a sympathetically restored townhouse with an elegant dining room & beautiful courtyard garden surrounded by orange trees for warm summer evenings. Serving modern rustic cuisine with a focus on big flavours, we feature seasonal, local produce in dishes with Mediterranean & Asian influences.
Food is impeccable, always incredibly tasty with a varying menu that changes frequently. Incredible use of local ingredients which are in other restaurants used dismally in the Malaga area. I recommend everything about it. Natalie and Al are brilliant, as are every member of the team, servers and chefs alike. The restaurant is beautiful.
You need to book a table as it is always busy.
