The Reef Beach Cafe is open 7 days per week, from 8:00 am till 10:00 pm (Mondays until 6pm), and offers a simple but nicely varied menu of Creole and international (sea)food, a range of fast foods (including home made pizza), breakfast, fresh milkshakes, cappuccinos, cold beers and hot cocktails, at prices as low as we can keep them, making The Reef affordable to both locals and visitors. The Reef Kite + Surf is located right next to The Reef Beach Cafe, and there are tables inside as well as outside under the gum and sea grape trees on the beach.
We weren't disappointed here, just kind of bored. It's a nice setting, and given how relatively few restaurants there are in the Vieux Fort to Laborie stretch, you should make it one of your stops, just don't go out of your way. And keep an eye on your car, there have been some uncharacteristic incidents we heard.

Island breeze is located along the southern coast of the Island of St.Lucia overlooking the Maria Islets. Be welcomed and drawn in by the natural cool aroma of the Atlantic Ocean. Lay back with a cool margarita and be entertained by windsurfers as they perform various stunts. Breeze in to our warm atmosphere, opened everyday from 10:00 am!
We ate here on a grey Sunday afternoon in October. Two adults with our three young children for lunch after a long horse ride in the morning. We were all hungry and looking forward to a good lunch.
We ordered: Jerk Chicken, calamari, Clubhouse Sandwich, BLT and chicken strips.
We waited an excruciating long time for our food to appear.
The Jerk chicken and calamari came out first, both cold. Followed by the two sandwiches and finally after a long wait the chicken strips.
The jerk chicken was obviously recooked then heated up, however in our case it hadn't been heated through and came out cold. The calamari had been cooked but left to go cold. As lukewarm chicken is dangerous to consume my husband sent his plate back to the kitchen -who stuck the entire plate (including salad!) in the microwave and returned it piping hot -salad included!!
We complained about the hot lettuce salad and lack of effort. The manager came out to address the issue, however she dragged along the poor waiter too, introducing us to him and attempting to blame him for the mistakes, telling us he should have told us there was going to be a wait for our food.
I mentioned my cold calamari (I wish I had done so earlier) The manager wasn't interested in the cold calamari, I asked her to see for her self, it was stone cold, she didn't want to and left it at that.
She did however replace my husbands jerk chicken and again offered an excuse, this time it was that the kitchen staff were no good.
In her defence she offered the jerk chicken and water without charge. She was being friendly and told us she was hoping we would return again soon
-NO CHANCE!

A quaint restaurant with an authentic taste of St. Lucia's local cuisine.
We found this because the proprietor's son runs Cook Like A Lucian and she helps him with that business. We had the chicken curry and lots of other small portions of authentic Lucian cuisine as well a delicious sorrel juice. Close to the airport, so a great stop for lunch before flying out (far better than departure lounge cuisine!). The only down side is that it's difficult to find, which is why there are so few reviews. All the other customers were Lucians and there was a steady stream of them. Highly recommended!

I hate leaving poor reviews.... This was a gong show.... They were out of nearly everything. There were lots of staff on, but they so disorganized. It took forever to get our food after having to change our order a few times. Finally had to ask them to please get it now.
When the food came it was good, the staff were nice, but they really need to improve their situation.

This was the last place my boyfriend and I went to eat during our vacation. We wanted to grab some lunch before our flight home. The waitress was very attentive and described anything we were unsure of. After we ordered, my boyfriend left briefly to get money from the ATM (we had issues getting money out at a previous ATM). When the owner saw this she told me not to worry about it. That whether or not the ATM let him take out money, we would eat and enjoy our meal. Such kindness! The food was absolutely amazing - the best we had eaten all trip. I had a stewed chicken, he ate a fish platter and bought a chicken roti to go. I STRONGLY advise you to visit!! You get a variety of sides and a decent size platter for a great value (the most food for the least expensive cost). Get a good taste of local food when you land at UVF and before you depart.

Sailing St Lucia and Martinique, we stopped off in Laborie and headed for Mama Tilly's on TA recommendation. We were not disappointed, great welcome and fantastic lobster with salad, scalloped potatoes, bread fruit, all washed down with rum punch. Lovely to chat with Tilly and her daughter and get a glimpse of Caribbean life. Highly recommended

Come relax at Salt Rush Café, located on the Laborie waterfront, behind Ms. Rose Bakery. Enjoy breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, coffee, smoothies and cocktails. Our unique combination of services includes kayak tours and outdoor and studio photography.
The perfect spot for a casual lunch or cocktail at sundown when you've come in from the beach. Wilson's quiet and peaceful cafe overlooks the bay of Laborie and given it's a little fishing village, the fish is fresh and delicious and the beer cold. What more could one want!

East Indian Cuisine Restaurant serving Brunch,Lunch and dinner . Our chefs are all the way from India and having experience of 15 to 20 years working with award wining Hotels and restaurant catering high class Indian food.
From the outside, this place looks like a hole in the wall type place. Inside, it's quite a bit nicer than you might expect. I got the fish curry. Sauce was good but fish was a bit dry. Also, I wasn't thrilled with having to pay extra for rice. Seems like that should come with. But, in any case, it was really wonderful to have a vegetarian option (for my husband) while we were in Saint Lucia.
By the way, the owner asked me to write a Trip Advisor review -- which I found to be rather funny.
