Miami is hot hot hot! And it’s not just the sultry weather. Here, the nightlife is scorching, thanks to a strong Latin influence and spicy salsa culture. Dance the noche away in a nightclub, or indulge in a fancy meal at one of the city’s celebrity-owned restaurants. By day, hit the beach of course, or have yourself a walkabout, taking in Miami’s colorful art deco architecture. Grab a Cuban sandwich in Little Havana, then ride the vintage carousel at Virginia Key Beach Park.

Acclaimed Chef Kovaceski Serves Distinctive Pizza and His Signature Italian Cuisine For Dine-In, Carryout & Delivery Acclaimed chef/owner Klime Kovaceski and his Australian wife Anita are the proud owners of CRUST Restaurant, serving unparalleled pizza and modern Italian cuisine in the scenic and rapidly trending area by the Miami River. CRUST offers a unique dining experience, starting with the structure itself: The 2,400sf standalone Art Deco building, formerly a private home built in the 1950s, has retained its original charm by way of elegant geometric lines, striking Deco columns, and a lofty 14-foot ceiling. The cool and casual 65-seat dining room also encompasses a lengthy 10-seat bar that is spacious enough for a comfortable dining experience. Our pizza toppings utilize the freshest ingredients and feature tantalizing choices such as Truffled Pizza with arugula, parmesan and truffle oil; Mediterranean Pizza with feta cheese, kalamata olives, eggplant and fire roasted peppers; and our signature namesake Pizza with fig, prosciutto & blue cheese. Concerning the rest of the menu, let’s just say that over the last three decades, veteran chef Kovaceski has accumulated enough tried-and-true recipes to keep everyone happy! Yet CRUST aims to be more than just a great place to dine: Carryout is available as well as a reliable delivery service covering thousands of residents and businesses in the Downtown, Brickell, Midtown and surrounding neighborhoods. “CRUST is not some nostalgic waltz into my past: I’ll leave the Greatest Hits routine for aging rock stars. It is, instead, a natural extension of my passion for feeding people and being part of the food world’s compelling present and future.”
Dinner again before heat game. The service as usual was excellent. The food fresh and great. Tonite we had garlic knots which were awsome to be followed by pizza. Which we all loved. We went here on a whim because our first choice was booked; this will from now on be our favorite. Food was wonderful, I had a fabulous rigatoni and my husband had a great fish special. Good wines - a nice pinot noir and a very good chianti. Best of all was the service; if you are not from this area (we are) you may not realize just how hard it is to find good service in Miami. This place made us feel like home. If you are in Miami this is absolutely the place to go. I just can't emphasize how wonderful this restaurant is.

Delicious meal. Shared ALITAS ROCOTOKIU (Flash fried wings covered with our one-of-a kind Bar-B-Q Rocoto sauce (8 wings)) and DIABLOS AZULES (Crunchy calamari in a huacatay Tiger’s milk reduction, pineapple, red onions and culantro) for Starter and Share DENNY’S “EL ESPECTACULAR” for Main Course (A fabulous combination, certified Angus Beef skirt steak, chicken, and sautéed mushrooms stir-fried in a wok with onions, tomatoes, peppers, and soy sauce; accompanied with crunchy French fries and white rice.) Just the right amount for two people. Would definitely go back to this restaurant again.

Everything tasted wonderful! Our server described the specials of the evening, and we ordered one of each! The ceviche seafood tower was amazing --lobster especially. We also had a snapper dish and risotto with shrimp and steak. Big portions. Passion fruit sangria was delicious as well.

Helmed by Venetian chef Igor Ferraro and his wife Cristiana, Ferraro’s Kitchen Restaurant offers the best Italian cuisine. Menu is a journey through the flavors of Italy. Most of the products are gathered locally from organic farms that take pride in providing only the freshest, most natural ingredients.
The authenticity of the cuisine at Ferraro's cannot be understated. As an Italian who has been treated to exquisite dining experiences, I never dreamt that we would find such a fabulous restaurant while on vacation. The recommendation for Ferraro's was a winner and from the moment we arrived we were treated graciously. The wait staff was extremely diligent and nonintrusive. I dont think we would have found the place if not for the recommendation - since it is not in a mainstream area, and from afar - not in a area that one would think would have a restaurant that was so fabulous. We started our meal with eggplant that was perfectly fried - light and delicious. When we learned that the various funghi had just flown in that morning, that sealed our choice of the main course - risotto with the mushrooms. Perfect. Keep in mind, this is a pricey but well worth it experience.

Strip mall based local restaurant with basic interior. Don’t go for atmosphere. Go for food and staff willing to try to have you enjoy the food. We had saltado dishes which were tasty compared to others we have had. Wish there was more sauce and wish we could have had boiled potatoes but it was tasty. The wait staff suggested a desert that was like a sponge cake and milky caramel sauce. It was very good. So a tasty good meal for reasonable price in a local setting.

An Icon of Miami simple food, the Cuban Frita is the Cuban interpretation of a hamburger. Casual Family friendly environment that wants to make you part of our family. Welcome Home !
Good Lil joint at shopping strip along busy 8th street with limited and challenging parking. Parking may be found at an adjacent shopping strip. Welcoming staff specially professional server “Maria” who suggested yummy sauces for the star of the show “the Cuban Frita!”. A frita is made of secretive blend of meat and chorizo with tasty spices. I went with the traditional other version are available including with cheese. The frita is served on soft delicious roll filled with lil potato sticks and a tasty red sauce. Honestly ordering one is not enough they are that good - had I not been alone I would had ordered two but was embarrassed to take responsibility for what would appeared as overeating, (lol). Maria offered a small cup of chicken soup to go with frita and I was glad I took her advised while I was enjoying the delicious Cuban hot & fresh chicken soup. They offer traditional Cuban dishes: Friday’s cod fish in creole sauce served with white rice; Saturday Cuban Ajiaco served with fresh chicharrones - ajiaco is a typical Cuban comfort food; stew of delicious root veggies and beef, yum! Bottom line, place offers abundant delicious meal choices. My meal was less than $10 and great! You want home style Cuban fare go here, don’t expect fancy just good food and service. By the way “EL MAGO” himself sat at counter overseeing the operation and talking to a regular about everyday stuff; he’s the owner since the 80’s.
