We had a local recommend this place. It was very good. The fried chicken and shrimp po-boy were great! Portions were huge. You could definitely share the half fried chicken with someone!

Great local taste of Louisiana. Moderately priced and nice food quantities. I had my "go to" food choices - boudin balls, oyster poboy, and seafood gumbo. Chef Ron did NOT disappoint. Place is pretty small, but has that neighborhood feel. Our waitress was great and had a fantastic sense of humor.

Stopped in for the first time recently with some business colleagues. The bar service and wait staff were friendly and welcoming. The BBQ shrimp and Hebert’s fries as apps were pretty tasty. The catfish was pretty good and everyone’s meals were prepared as ordered. In general everyone enjoyed the first time experience.

Home of the Original Charbroiled Oyster!
Today is the first time we have stopped here for lunch, and it is a lot less crowded / relaxed than the time we had been for dinner. This Dragos is a couple blocks off of Causeway Blvd with parking in front, around the side, and across the street.
This trip it was just my teenage daughter and I and we shared a Mediterranean crab salad (excellent), a dozen raw oysters ( eaten mostly by me), a dozen Charbroiled Oysters ( the best, eaten mostly by me), and a Portabella burger ( eaten mostly by my daughter).
Ashton did a nice job serving us.

We really enjoyed our pizza and would definitely visit again. Quaint old school pizza parlor and loved the Mark Twain motif! Breadsticks were delicious as well!

The food was good but the service was mediocre and the Manager Gerald Chedda is horrible! My husband and I sat with another couple to enjoy dinner & drinks. However, I our waitress was slow and inattentive. In fact, we only saw her when she took our drink order and to drop off the check. Once I made it home I realized that we were charged a "SERVICE FEE" of $16.79. I called to inquire about the service fee and was told by the manager, Gerald Chedda, that it was, in fact, the addition of an 18% gratuity. I told Gerald that I was not satisfied with the service that I received, and I tipped according to the services rendered. I asked Gerald "what is the policy for adding 18% gratuity to a bill?" His response was, we 'can' add it on parties of 4, 5, 6 etc...I commented that this sounds like workplace practice but not the policy. I asked again, "what is the POLICY for adding an 18% 'service fee' to a bill? Gerald never stated the company policy. I told Gerald that I did not feel like we were treated fairly, rather we were subjected to the waitress's opinion on whether or not we would leave a tip. I then asked for a refund of the $16.79. Gerald took offense to my request and rudely begin telling me that his waitresses work hard and he believes she deserves the 18% 'service fee' plus the tip that I left. I again stated that I wanted a refund. I explained that I was being generous by leaving a tip for a server that did provide good customer service. Gerald decided to argue his point further. He also decided that I needed a history lesson on the hotel, restaurant and management industry along with a 3rd grade math lesson on the percentage that I tipped her. Gerald is the most unprofessional, rude, presumptuous manager I have ever encountered. BTW, I called the westbank and Covington locations and asked about the automatic 18% gratuity policy and was told by both locations that they only add the tip to a bill when it is a party of 6 or more. Someone needs to tell Gerald Chedda.

Been to Zea's a number of times. Never reviewed. Zea's never disappoints. On this visit I had their Rotisserie Chicken. They cook this just right and it is always good. For sides I had the corn grits and green beans. Both very good. I started with a Caesar Side Salad. Very good. The one thing about Zea's is that their offerings are always consistently good. Suggest a visit to Zea's if you are in the vicinity.

A bit pricey but worth it as I've never had Charbroiled Oysters before.. The ambiance is "diner-ish", services was very quick, menu was reasonably broad. Lots of large families enjoying the restaurant .

It's unassuming from the outside, but quite cozy & romantic inside. The restaurant is well appointed inside, white linen tablecloths, extensive wine selections. We love the place. It is very clean inside, too!
The cannelloni is among the best I've ever had, and the chicken marsala is wonderful. The desserts are divine. We had the Tiramisu, I highly recommend it, it's probably the best I've ever had.
You couldn't ask for a better wait staff, they are very pleasant and attentive. Vincents is small, only about 20 tables, so I recommend a reservation for dinner, this place get jumping.
I'm always skeptical when I see so many 5 star reviews of a restaurant, but Vincent lives up to it.

This is a quintessential local place out on the lakefront serving up local semifast food.
Semi fast, means some degree of prepaation, but in NOLA also means fresh ingredients. The mainstay are local favorite sandwixhes which of course includes the muffalata. Most sandwiches can be bought as half or whole. They also have pizza. Tends to be crowded for lunch and jameed on weekedns. This is note a tourist destination but orht the visit.
