The prophet Mohammed's birthplace is Islam's spiritual center and is strictly off-limits to non-Muslims. The pillars of Islam state that all Muslims with the means must undertake Hajj, a pilgrimage to Mecca, once in their lifetime. Those who visit the holy city are rewarded not just by proximity to landmarks and religious sites crucial to the religion, such as the Masjid Al Haram (Holy Mosque), the Mountain of Light, the Black Stone and the Well of Zamzam, but with the forgiveness of all their sins.

The food at this Hardee's Branch is good but it is always crowded. One has to wait quite long for the turn to order and then to pick the order up. A couple of times, the staff has served in a fashion which is not likely of a Hardee's (the drink was not fizzy, the burger was not as requested for) due to obvious reasons of rush. But generally it is OK.

The roti canai and teh tarik are the best. They also have dishes for meals and good noodles such as mee goreng

Worth a try nothing special, much better places near it, ideal for kids, customer service needs improving, some staff do not understand what a customer wants, expensive compared to others

We visited this restaurant as we were staying in Al Marwa. It’s a great option for dining I must say you can opt in for a buffet and enjoy the relaxing ambience with impressive view of Haram.

if one i lucky, getting the table with the Kaabah view is the best experience at this restaurant. located at Rayhaan Rotana, it is one of two restaurants (the other is al Bayt) that we got to enjoy during the recent haj. a full spread of arab delicacies is available and my favourite was the foul (chickpeas) and well as lamb mandy. the lentil soup is heavenly-thick and hot and best enjoyed when you dip the arabic bread in. always made sure to add olives and when it comes to dessert, dont forget the delicious tahina.

This lovely restaurant exists in the heart of Swissotel five star hotel & actually is an extension to their excellent service, the offered open buffet is very variant, delusions, instantly renewed & you never get enough of it. Though when you see the dining hall you'll be amazed how do they keep pleasing everyone this much & this fast.
I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a nice meal & enjoy the Swiss curtesy at the same time
P.S
Breakfast is served from 6:30-10:00 am (thumbs up).

Was very disappointed with smash burger. Ordered a burger with a avocado forgets it’s name, pointed at the menu asking if the SR32 was the meal price was told it was. Bought sweet potato fries also. When I looked at the receipt I was charged additional money for a meal(which I really was not interested in. When I got the burger there was no avocado in there asked at the counter as to why?
Was advised that they were out... so why not tell me when I ordered it geniuses??? They don’t mind taking your money as to what they give, is a different story .
