Stayed in Puerto de Mazarron for 3 nights. We tried this place after being turned away from another similar establishment as it wasn't open for 20 minutes!!!! Glad we were, the food was excellent, cooked superbly. The waiter was very attentive, answered all our questions. The wine was reasonably priced. The setting by the harbour finished off the great experience.

It's been 7 years since we last frequented The Market Tavern but amazingly the quality of the food and the friendliness of the service has just continued to get better and better. Carlos and his team offer a warm welcome to all and serve excellent food which offers great value for money. My personal favourite's are the Lasagne followed by Apple Crumble and Custard (the crumble is the best ever), all home made. They are closed on Mondays, but have food theme nights throughout the rest of the week offering an inclusive price for 3 courses in addition to their main menu and the best Sunday roast (on Sunday obviously) in town (booking is advisable). Visit once and I guarantee you'll become a regular. 5*

WE VISITED this restaurant three times and never had a bad meal. Is a family run restaurant, with outside sitting. Very popular with Spaniards specially on a Sunday when they do paellas, also they do to take away, very tasty. Service very friendly, they accept credit cards.I recommend it !

We popped for lunch on my birthday as we fancied something a bit different from the usual menu deal dia. There's a choice of kebab or harisa soup to start....and both were quite tasty in small portions. The flat bread was nice though. We both had cous cous for seconds and were disappointed....a bit tasteless and dry....not like North African food should be. As other reviewers point out a beer and orange juice were charged for...not what it said on the board! Pretty average for €9.95 really. Staff were friendly enough and the location is good but we won't be back.

Look - don't go here if you don't like authentic American food (home made), Steaks, sides, Ribs, Burgers, Fajitas and more.
Or if you don't like great live music (not canned Kareoke) on Sunday afternoons.
Or if you don't enjoy great service and cold beer.
If you do like any of the above you just can't go wrong at the Blues House.

We had been recommended this place for the views and they did not disappoint. Qw bagged a table with amazing views of The Marina, montains and sea. Prompt service and the ice cream was wonderful. The staff attending the table were very polite and friendly. The ionly reason for not giving 5* was the lack of food options. We will know next time and I am sure this will become a firm favourite
