Dined in when staying there. The restaurant was excellent with good service and stunning food. No menu, the waitress asked did I like meat or fish, I said both so had a mixture.
Great fish starter, comprising four different items all excellent. This was followed by a lamb pastry which was a bit like a samosa.
Main cause was grilled fish and this was followed by a trio of desserts again all great.
They offered wine with each course which was very good.

Try fish and sea food dishes, as well as tasteful smoked ham and cheese in this pleasant tavern, decorated with fishing nets and old maritime artifacts.
Great all around place to dine ... the view is astonishing ... but the food is what makes this place special ... the service was attentive ... I suppose they've checked previous reviews since what I experienced was top notch

This is a lovely setting and in off season we were amongst the few patrons. The service was quite good although at times the waiter was hard to find. Our appetizer was an amazing platter of fresh, raw fish with a beautiful presentation- little English was spoken and we had them choose- but the price was very high- buyer be ware. The sea breen fish was delightful- we chose our pieces to be cooked.

This seafood restaurant has a great variety of properly cooked fish and see Tod varieties. We have a diverse set of spritzers with great taste and presentation.
Very attentive service, very good list of wines
This is a must visit, if you are travelling anywhere from Opatija and beyond.
It is expensive but worth the quality.
Don’t miss the risotto and ask for Batman!
We will be back!

Delicious blend of Croatian and Italian Cusine
Really good food, had a beef steak and Swiss chard dalmatian style, super-tender and tasty! The waiters are attentive, maybe a bit of a high volume on the music, could benefit from turning it down a bit. But all in all, visit!

We were there with our family and with four children.....waiting two and a half hours for main meal. TWO AND A HALF HOURS.....omg. My husband went to the kitchen to ask them to hurry up....they have said him that they are doing their best....waiter was god, nice outdoor athmosphere, but kitchen staff works too slow...they need a good manager to improve their organisation!!!

With the quietness of its ambience, the wide range of carefuly chosen exquisite meals, and with the discreet and axclusive service, Villa Ariston's restaurant manages to entertain and please in any occasion: banquets, business meetings, cocktail parties, family celebrations, weddings... Offering unforgettable moments. The restaurant offers its services in three connected halls and on a Terrace which extends all the way to the sea.
This restaurant is set in a charming location and can be accessed by taxi or by walking along the costal path.
Having researched T.A. reviews we reserved a table for the Taster Menu with anticipation.
The first three courses were of the standard to be expected although the matched wines did not always arrive at the proper time. The following courses were - alright. Nothing to complain about but not of the expected standard and without a spread between fish and meat.
Service was very pleasant but appeared to be disjointed. Our opinion was the restaurant was not having a good night

The restaurant is is part of Villa Kapetanovic which is listed on TA
Nice restaurant with a wonderful Terrace facing Quarnaro; very welcoming service, multilingual. Interesting Croatian wine list, amazing fresh fish. We had a 1.5kg seabass: really high quality. Raw fish as appetizer was nothing special but good.
Sincerely overpriced; more than we expected considering the level of the food, the place and what we ordered. Quality of course has a value, but when is overpriced becomes a reason not to recommend it.
