Marsalforn (Marsa el-Forn), also written as M'Forn for shortcut purposes, is a village on the north coast of Gozo, the second largest island of the Maltese archipelago. The village lies between the hill-top towns of Xagħra and Żebbuġ. The village forms part of the locality of Żebbuġ. Marsalforn is one of the most popular tourist resorts on Gozo. It is well served with hotels, guest houses, restaurants, bars, and beaches. There is only a one small sandy beach in Marsalforn, however, along the rocky coastline there are a number of interesting swimming spots. Also, there's only one police station in Marsalforn.

Whilst in Gozo we went to eat at the restaurant l-Arzella in Menqa Marsalforn which our Gozitan friend suggested. We weren't disappointed as the choice of fresh fish which the owner gave us was fantastic. We choose Spagetti with mixed sesfood, Pagell (pandora) Tuna and Fish soup. All the servings were plentiful at reasonable prices.Service was very good. The restaurant enjoys a beautiful view of Marsalforn bay. Highly recommended.

Mediterranean/Grill with spectacular sea views, al fresco or indoors - during summer part of the area is converted into a lido with deckchairs and cocktail bar. During the einters we also serve al fresco but we also have indoor availability. We specialize in succulent Mediterranean dishes and fresh fish, while we also have good sized tasty steaks. The area is big enough to organize special events like staff parties and special functions by the water's edge. Booking is always a must at this unique spot in Marsalforn.
Good to excellent value, splendid view from the seafront tables. Our little party ordered a variety of dishes that were still delivered in a more than reasonable time. Allergies and vegetarian desires were seen to, showing that everything was clearly freshly made to order...
Extremely friendly service with time for a little chat although the place was very busy in the sunny February weather. When one of the kids accidentally overturned a glass of water, the very tasty antipasti were replaced... Highly recommended.

Visited last Saturday with my family. We enjoyed our evening in a warm atmosphere with, as usual, outstanding cuisine. Patrick's is one of our favorite restaurants to visit, always offering a nice ambiance, great service and a top class wine range. If you're planning on going on a Saturday evening, I suggest booking in advance to have indoor Seating. We booked late and were seated in the outdoor garden area which had a canopy and was heated. This area is a designated smoking area for diners, however our dinner was still enjoyable and we almost preferred the quiet and private Seating. Our choice of dishes for starters were Risotto, Fried Brie pillow, Salt and Pepper Squid and Chicken liver parfait. For main courses we chose Duck Breast which was fantastic, tasty and very tender, Fillet of beef and Tomahawk for two. For dessert we had the lemon tart, creme brule, apple tart and the special of the day, the bread and butter pudding. Well done Patrick as always! To enjoy a real steakhouse, don't miss out on this restaurant. They know how to get top quality meat cuts and know the secrets of cooking them to perfection!

The most delicious well done char grilled lamb racks we have ever tasted! Accompanied by roasted Mediterranean vegetables and potatoes done to perfection. Its a double rack to satisfy a big appetite. To start with the grilled aubergines were also delicious. The restaurant has a unique ambiance situated in two converted boat houses. It is well established as it goes back two generations. Service is unobtrusive but good.

Conveniently located by the harbour, Pulena competes with a multitude of other restaurants in Marsalforn and most people have their own favourite. Pulena provides good food and friendly service with a choice of tables immediately by the harbour or inside the restaurant and is at least as good as the majority of restaurants in the town.

We visited this restaurant for lunch on Sunday, 11th March, 2018 as it was a bright, sunny day. This was our first visit but surely will not be the last.
Upon our arrival we were greeted with a complimentary focaccia nicely garnished with sun-dried tomatoes paste and placed on a very original miniature pallet, the focaccia tasted great.
We were informed about the ‘specials’ and all four of us opted for a pea soup as starter. As main course, two of us went for stuffed chicken breast wrapped in ham, a rabbit fried in garlic, peas, herbs and white wine, while I opted for a prime steak of beef in mushroom sauce. Abundant portions and simply delicious!
The desert selection was vast and also appetising.
Another plus to this restaurant is the fact that parking is not a problem as they have their own area right at the back, apart from the warm, welcoming ambience and wonderful sea views!
Members of staff were all really caring and polite throughout our stay which contributed to the overall experience, well done and keep this level of service!

We spent wonderful four days in Xaghra and Oleander was our favorite restaurant. It had a good menu offering daily specials featuring local fare to delight any foodie. Outdoor dining at night in this beautiful plaza was unforgettable. Don't forget to visit the Cathedral, the inside is not to be missed.

Pierre's has a couple of advantages: Unlike many bayside restaurants in Marsalforn, the restaurant is open for lunch, and the restaurant is right on the water with a pretty view of the harbor.
Our experience, although good, was not as good as some other patrons. We enjoyed fried calamari and seafood pastas, solidly above average. The service, although cordial, was a touch slow.

Stopped off here for a couple of nights during a recent stay on Gozo. Absolutely fantastic pizza - clearly home made and the bases were lovely and crisp with some great topping combinations on offer. Reasonably priced as well, so highly recommend!

This place has so much food to offer!! You can choose your own fish, even a fish platter between 2 or more people. You can choose your own meat too. All specialities of the area. Prices are very reasonable and plenty of wine to choose from to accompany your meal. Great service with lovely staff and the view over the bay is beautiful. This place is a must! Xxx
