Having visited the establishment more than any other restaurant since it’s opening over the past 20 years or so, it is disappointing to experience its disintegration over the last six months. Low quality and diminishing portions of dishes, especially appetizers that used to be great, and above all a ‘service’ that can hardly match the standards of a restaurant of the name and tradition of the company.
We had reviewed the establishment a number of times over the last couple of years more than favorably, but recent experiences are in sheer contradiction! Non existing service even being the only couple in the empty restaurant and errors in the bill are only a couple of non acceptable negative comments and complaints, that have been unprofessionally handled by a non-caring and indifferent ‘management’.
We are not intending to visit again, not even to use the coupons we have earned and offered over the last couple of years!
Such a shame !

If you want to taste almost ALL famous Greek flavors this is the place, specially for foreign visitors. Not cheap but you have to enjoy the experience of so many different plates coming the one after the other without ordering them..take the menu and stay calm! Last advice, come here really hungry ! Do not take lunch for this day. The view, specially in summer time is outstanding

Chalandri's and Greek's taverns gem, Kitsoulas is an authentic representation of what Greek tavern is and where locals eat! Menu is pure Greek and visitor will enjoy the definition of delicious Greek cuisine and warm hospitality. Stuff is very helpful and attantant and will bring anything you ask in front of you quickly. We tried stuffed zucchini, Pastiche and beef fillet. I would advise you to call in advance and make a reservation as it may be crowded. Food is guaranteed to be delicious! Don't miss it!

Greek tavern, with owners a family originated from Aegean island of Naxos. Cozy atmosphere and friendly service from the members of the family. All fresh products,- coming from the island,- are well cooked and served with care. The dishes (mezedes) are VERY traditional and tastefull, rare to find elsewhere in Athens: Splinantero, gardoubakia, katsikomakaronada, rosto aperathitiko are just super delicious. Fine red wine and so the other beverages. At the end, free offer of loukoumades, (a kind of donuts), served with honey and/or chocolate. Very reasonable prices. A must!

The restaurant's philosophy is clear and precise: years of experience, imagination and creativity seek out the best nature generously has to offer every season and evolve it into a faultlessly delicious result based on clean, authentic and imaginative dishes. The menu at Psomi & Alati changes every 2 to 3 months according to seasonally available ingredients.
To begin with, this is the 2nd time I dine at this restaurant, the 1st being in its very early steps. Comparing to this 1st, I consider it not that good. The place is nice, non smoking area exists and the service is great. There is an option for 2 people menu, 25€/person, which I think is a really good choice. However, we decided to proceed with different plates in the middle. The concept around every course seemed interesting, however the result was at many cases disappointing. Furthermore the quantity of the appetizers was really small. The house wine was really good. The prices are rather high.

The African Experience in Athens : Rib Eyes, Chakalakas, Burgers 'n Pitas
South African restaurant that offers glorious stakes. Beef, chicken, pork and for the not meat lovers dragged there by friends, grilled prawns. All goes nicely together with a glorious South African red wine. Great service. The place could be crowded and noisy but this is part of its charm. Enjoy!

Agani and... Enjoy your meal! In a beautiful, natural setting, Chef Stathis creates distinctive, Mediterranean recipes with quality and a point view. Our specialties are seafood recipes, but meat dishes surpass the expectations of "devoted" to meat. The fresh fish arrives exclusively from Ikaria and the fish soups you find are unique. The menu is enriched daily with new inspired recipes.
I follow this restaurant since its beginning, previously located in Alsoupoli.
Most dishes have interesting taste, but I believe it is overpriced for the mediocre ambient and service it provides.
Example: 4 plates-two starters and two main (calamari salad, small sardine-like fish pasta, risoto) for 2 persons plus 3 beers and one glass of wine 90 euro.
The chef (owner possibly), smiling but quite arrogant, for no reason.
