We stop in here every time we drive through town. The cracklins and boudin are amazing. If you like smoke taste, you need to try the smoked boudin. All the meats and cooking supplies are fantastic. I have yet to find something we don't like.

Fresh Catch Bistreaux is a full service sit-down restaurant where Broken Wheel Brewery operates out of a small room attached to the bar. Stumble on the place by accident when I visited Marksville. My god the food was so good and plentiful. The service and the hospitality was great, the staff went beyond of what we expected. We had a very large group with some very demanding and the staff remained pleasant. i recommend that everyone take at drive to Marksville and visit Fresh Catch Bistreaux/Broken Wheel Brewery. You won't regret it. It is wroth your time and money.

New Wendy's about 2 years old. Very clean. Food is very good for a fast food restaurant. Across the highway from Paragon Casino, Marksville, LA

Restaurant choices are very limited in this small town, so it is not unusual that the food quality is also limited. I've been to many Mexican food restaurants and Los Frijolitos is very average. They do have good Margaritas, which are tasty, but seem to be lacking in alcohol content. The cheese in my enchiladas was not melted and the sauce was tasteless. If the beans in the Chalupa would have been vegetarian like they were supposed to be, it would have been edible as the other ingredients were tasty. The saving grace was our waitress she was pleasant and eager to serve she did a great job.

The fried seafood is good. The filet mignon is tender and tastey. Can't argue with the food.
The waitstaff is a slightly different story. Service is sub par. They're curteous, but will rarely clean your table as the servings progress.
At least the decor is nice, with antique farm tools and unusual taxidermy mounts.

We started with martinis.. I ordered the French martini which was wonderful. For dinner we split a wedge salad, then I had the bronzed salmon with lump crabmeat and asparagus. It was perfectly cooked and delicious. My husband had the prime rib which also wonderful. Because it was birthday and I'm not a dessert person, they gave me the martini for free. Great meal, service and atmosphere.

This is a little hidden gem. The customer service was outstanding. I purchased 10 lbs of freshly boiled Crawfish, I must say that they were perfectly seasoned, delicious. I was pleased with the size as well, Shawn boiled them, cooled them down, put them in my cooler and we made it to Texas just fine. Lol, I love that they cook their other dishes to order because I love freshly cooked food. I will definitely be going to Po Boys Seafood whenever I am in Louisiana. Way to go Shawn.

Filet Mignon, corn & shrimp chowder, and crab au gratin are the best in parish. Bar tender is courteous and strives to meet your satisfaction with unconventional drinks. Wait staff is professional and courteous, and all food is top notch.

Good fast food & prices for a McDonalds. If you compare it to the Burger King that is not far away, McDonalds is better.
