Traveling through for work and a local recommended Lottie's. Great variety and every entree comes with 2 sides. Fried chicken and green beans were perfect southern soul food. The mac&cheese was really good but didn't seem homemade. This little town is quaint so this gem was a surprise. Will definitely stop by again when in town.

The Shack is a little hard to find as its not really on a main road, but its definitely worth the trip. Me and my friends decided to check it out because we heard it is where a lot of the locals go and we were looking for and authentic Marion experience.. We stopped by on a Friday evening and the place was fairly crowded. We tried the burgers and they were really juicy and delicious and most importantly CHEAP! We ended up talking to a lot of the locals and had a blast, staying well past midnight learning all about their lives and just talking. The Shack usually closes around 9 or 10pm most days but the bar may stay open later depending on the people still in there. It definitely is a place for a bit older crowd, but I'm sure children would be welcomed more towards lunch time. Definitely would recommend trying to stop by for some good BBQ and burgers!

Not much to set this location apart from your average Subway, but it was clean, the staff were nice and helpful and they did not skimp on the sandwich fixin's. Definitely worth visiting in Marion, and close to the Sleep Inn!

Was in a rush and decided to grab some pizza for dinner. I decided to stop at Pirelle's because I had heard nothing but good things from the people in town. My absolute favorite thing about this was not only was the pizza cheap and delicious, but i also could add as many toppings as I want without being charged extra. I have never been to any other pizza place that allowed me to do this and I will definitely be coming here more often. If you love good pizza with lots of toppings, then this is the place to go!

I was craving some chinese food during my stay in Marion and this happend to be the only Chinese restaurant in town. I stopped by for lunch with a couple of my friends and loved that they had a buffet option. The buffet was fairly large and had enough selection to keep all my friends satisfied. The crab ragoon and sesame chicken were especially delicious, so much so that I ordered it the next night for dinner! i would definitely recommend you stop by if your in the area, just make sure to call ahead for there hours because they're closed on Tuesday!

A Marion tradition for over 50 years!
Do you like thick cut crispy bacon; hot biscuits; eggs; grits; and great coffee? If so this is the place to be! I was driving by on the way home and ran across this honey pot at the intersection of Highway 15 & 4 in Marion, AL. I had a sneaky suspicion that the place was the place to be as there were two (2) Police cars and one (1) Ambulance in front of the establishment. I was right. Those guys now good chow. Not much to look at, but you're there for the food not the building. Don’t miss out on this one. Enjoy.

The food here is okay not out of the ordinary. I had the Hot burger which is basically a open face burger with cheese onions and gravy. I however can not have gravy or bread so I had them and grilled jalapenos to mine which in my opinion only improved it. Otherwise it would have been premade frozen hamburger patties with cheese gravy onions on a bun. Everything here appears to be premade bought by the restaurant and then served to the customer nothing special. However that being said the staff was very friendly and very attentive they checked on me constantly and always made sure I had water and whatever I needed. Not a bad place for the price.

Stopped at Hardee's while traveling through Marion and expectations are typical of fast food chain stops. Doris was a pleasant surprise. She was super friendly and accommodating. Food is consistent for Hardee's products.
