We came here for dinner one evening and enjoyed our food. Sometimes the place is quiet, but don’t let that put you off as the food and prices are both excellent.
Our group had the tuna adobo, an eggplant and star anise dish, vegetable curry and a tuna steak dish.
Everyone enjoyed their food, and I particularly liked my large portion of vege curry!
My only improvement would be to offer some more vegetarian dishes, although there are a few. The food is cheap, tasty and we left feeling content and full. Water bottle refills are offered for 20 pesos. I recommend you give this place a try.

The Craic House Irish Bar and Restaurant is the funkiest spot on Malapascua. It serves contemporary cuisine, ice cold drinks and plays the best music in The Philippines, right on the beach.
Loved this restaurant - all is great there: excellent food, the friendly and efficient staff, the fast WiFi, the view!
Beware though: their portions are laaaarge!
And their Lingvini Alfredo and Mediterranean salads are so good that you'll find yourself coming back for more and more. And more!
It was amazing to get such great food and service, thank you!

We came here for dinner on our first night in Malapascua, and it was great.
My partner is Italian and is particular over his Italian food, but he loved the pizza here. We ordered a ‘giant margherita’ that we both shared and it was delicious. I tried a couple of flavours of gelato for dessert, and they were great too.
Occasionally the service was a bit slow, but the staff were all nice and it was no big deal. On our backpacker budget, the food was a bit more expensive than other restaurants we ate at on the island, but we really enjoyed this place. If you fancy some good Italian food in a nice beach setting, here’s the place.

Nestled high up among the palm trees above TSD, you will find one of the delightful secrets of Malapascua. Oscar's Restaurant is a dining experience you should not miss during your trip.• Top quality dishes at a reasonable price.• The fastest service on Malapascua.• An eclectic mix of international dishes with a new menu every day based on today’s freshest ingredients.• Lively bar with great tunes!• Credit cards accepted.
Had a mango shake that was sour. Been drinking them all over the country.
Would not do anything. Took it back after one drink-------nothing.
Look at my reviews-- I'm not a complainer.

We ate here for dinner and for breakfast.
It gets quite busy in the evening, I imagine because the food prices here are cheap and very appealing if you’re on a budget, like we are. However although the prices are great, we found the portions to be small so we ended up ordering extra dishes anyway. The food tasted ok.. it was quite average, nothing especially tasty.
We decided to see if breakfast was better here, as we couldn’t find many affordable breakfast options. At breakfast we were the only ones in the restaurant. We ordered two dishes which were then repeated back to us, but one of us got the wrong dish. Not a big deal, but a bit strange when you only have two diners.
Anyway, worth trying this place once perhaps if you’re on a budget, but I found my experiences here pretty average all round.

The Ocean Vida restaurant and Beach Bar is conveniently located just above the dive facilities. However, it is up to you to decide whether to dine in the restaurant overlooking beautiful Bounty Beach or right on the beach on tables or on the comfortable bean bags. We offer daily happy hour from 4-6pm and Paella nights twice a week Our all you can eat breakfast buffet is served from 07.30-10 am and includes freshly baked bread, buns, croissants, freshly made omelets, bacon, cold cuts, a wide range of marmalade's, coffee, tea and fresh fruit juices. The restaurant is open till 10 pm where a wide range of Asian and European dishes are served. We also offer delicious sea food dishes freshly caught by local fishermen and prepared with coconut, mango, papaya and lemongrass. Available as well are a selection of red and white wines imported from Australia, South Africa, Chile, France and Spain. Come and join us.
Great time sitting on the bean bags for the happy hour and sunset food was good n tasty at reasonable prices .
The waiter memson - not sure if spelling correct - was the best . What a friendly guy always remember everyone's name
Only issue is too many people smoking or would be perfect

This is by far the best restaurant on the island for local food. Simple, family-run, the lady runs the business on a 4-burner stove. One of my favorite local dishes, Kani Lao, takes coconut mild. She prepares it breaking the coconut, grinding it into a rag, then squeezing the rag to extract the milk from the fresh-ground coconut. Just like is was done 100 years ago. You can imagine this not always work out well for foreigners who just aren't prepared to wait 2 hours for their food. So the best bet is always call in the afternoon and place the order over the phone, this way your food will be ready (or almost) when you arrive. The bother and wait is definitely worth it: the food is great!

A refreshing dining experience with two panoramic terraces overlooking the sea in Malapascua Island. Located on the top of a hill beside the entrance of Tepanee Beach Resort, Amihan is open for from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Come to savor the flavors of Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, with a touch of Filipino and Asian dishes. Amihan is the result of a set of elements: beautiful structure, great location, good food, selection of appropriate Italian wines and friendly and attentive service. We are able to offer a careful combination of both local products and those imported directly from Italy. The menu is wide and it can also satisfies vegetarians and vegans guests: try our pizza, home made pasta, grilled fish or meat, Italian cheeses, cold cuts, delicious desserts and tropical fruit juices, real Italian expresso and cappucino and much more. If advised in advance, we are able to provide also to the needs of guests with food intolerances or allergies. COME and ENJOY!
Ordered mixed meat skewers and the chicken was raw in the middle. I had to spit it out back on the plate and then showed it to the waitress. She took my plate back into the chicken and then came back later with the same skewer on the same plate. The meat was well done this time, but using the same plate, onto which I had earlier spit out the raw chicken, was not particularly hygienic.

On December 12, 2012 we inaugurated, in our small private beach facing the sunset all year round, the Chiringuito beach bar: we propose here breakfast and lunch, snacks and drinks, Italian coffee, natural fruit juices and cocktails, all in a heavenly context. The yogurt is homemade, all the juices, shakes and smoothies are freshly prepared on order; the “piadina” are mixed according to an old recipe from Emilia-Romagna; the croissants are sourced from a famous belgian baker while the bread is homemade and cooked in our wood oven; the coffee is imported from Italy, directly from the manufacturer and strictly vacuum packed to maintain the freshness and aroma essential for our sought-after espressos, cappuccinos and coffee-based cocktails. We have combined our experiences to offer the best ingredients, healthier and tastier recipes in a pleasant environment. The Chiringuito beach bar is open daily from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Come and enjoy!
It's located inside Tepanee Resort in Logon Beach. We did not stay in the resort but chose to eat at Chiringuito's. It's so peaceful and quiet and the view is so pretty since it's by the resort's private beach. The water is so blue, clear and inviting. It's just so nice to chill there or have breakfast with that kind of view. The place is small and the most coveted seat would of course be the one closest to the beach. Staff is nice and polite. We ordered one of their pasta best sellers, shake and panini. Serving is good for one. It's quite expensive but the taste packs a punch. Shake was ok, not the best but it was ok. I really love what we ordered and I sometimes find myself craving for their panini long after I returned to Manila.
