We didn't have a reservation but they offered us a table outdoor. I was kinda' worried that we would have a hard time getting the servers' attention, but I was wrong! The servers were on point, and very knowledgeable about the food/menu.
Everything we ordered were fantastic! I recommend you try the Okra Flower juice - it was so good! The wagyu beef appetizer is also worth mentioning. Unlimited rice, great food... this was a great find for us!

Only in Lepazi for 2 evenings but returned here as the food and service was excellent quality. Sauces and dressings had exquisite flavours. Ate inside in air conditioning as heat outside oppressive. Excellent live music provided for outside diners, situated in Gardens with pretty lighting. I wish we had somewhere like this back home.
Reasonable prices for the quality of food.

My wife and I manage to eat at the Shangra-la every time we are in Makati. Great steak restaurant. Similar to the best in the USA. Ribeyes are outstanding.

The location and the environment is nice, we have chosen a la carte to try. The starter were good and so the dessert, but we were quite disappointed by the main course, the fish was not well cooked and the presentation not so nice... Also the service was quite fast, but too fast: we have just started our drinks that the starters were served...
Overall, it was good, but not excellent and we expect for this price in Manila to have a bit more in terms of taste, texture and presentation.

This Bistro was an unexpected pleasure. The physical facilities were very pleasant, right down to having an opaque mirror surface behind where my wife was sitting. We eat out a lot around the world and I cannot tell you how many walls I have looked at. It is just pleasant to have a nice conversation with my wife and still see the happenings going on around us; which is considerable during the Christmas season in Manila - the populace takes its Christmas seriously - it is a big deal for the Filipino population.
The cocktails were prepared to specification and the wine selection included decent table wine. You will find no left bank Bordeaux here but you will find excellent an affordable table wine.
The food was good also. My wife and I split a salad to start that had a good balsamic. My wife had a beef dish and I had a duck leg confit. Two coffees and a decent Graham’s port were served with our desert choices.
We will likely go back once before we leave Manila on January 2nd for our next winter destination in Asia.
The entire bill including gratuity was about $111.00 USD.

Corner Tree Cafe is a Vegetarian / Vegan Cafe. We serve food from Asia to Africa, Europe, the Middle East and the Americas in a cosy intimate setting. We also offer good wines, local beers and some house cocktails. You don't have to be a vegetarian to enjoy our delicious food. In fact most of our customers are omnivores, but vegetarians will feel right at home here (we also serve some gluten-free dishes). To add to our regular menu, we have weekly specials sometimes inspired by current events or international days. Booking is advisable. Children welcome.
Decided to try this one out of curiosity. I ordered spinach and mushroom lasagna, country fries, and mango shake. The lasagna tasted pretty good, considering there's no meat in it. Country fries goes really well with the mayo (?) that comes with it. The mango shake is sweet enough to my liking. I also tasted their award winning salted caramel chocolate torte, and it tastes delicious.
Kinda expensive to eat here, though.
I'm not vegetarian or vegan, but wow, the food served by Corner Tree Cafe makes me want to try being one or the other. Eating healthy felt so good here!

I visited this restaurant due to the urging of my friend and I was thoroughly impressed with the food here. This is an authentic Japanese restaurant and the food served here is fresh and of highest quality. Good service is expected here and the price is very reasonable too. I am never bored dining here.

I love Falafel and have eaten it all around the world. So I admit my standards for Falafel are pretty high. This place does a good job, service was quick and the falafel Sandwich was reasonably priced. I like that they put the tihina and hot sauce on the table and squeeze bottles. Service was pretty quick, although I wish they had a larger selection of beverages. Just a few tables but when I visited at 8 on a Saturday night I had no trouble finding a place to sit. Only comment is the Falafel balls were little mushy, I wish they were a little crispier and crunchier. But I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Celebrated my Fiancé's dinner here and im glad that they didn't disappoint. Great steaks (do request for the specialty salts and sauces), ceasar Salad was also good, and the risotto was surperb. Not sure if i will come back soon, but i can definitely say it was a good experience.

As we hadn't celebrated Valentines Day due to flying out of Australia two days after Valentines Day, I wanted to take my wife somewhere special to a fine dining restaurant in Makati.
This place has been on my bucket list for some time and has the same owners as my favourite Thai Restaurant Peoples Palace so I made a booking.
The site of this restaurant is the old Manila Airport so has some great memorabilia.
We ordered a seafood bisque and bread for starters and for mains my wife had the lamb and I the beef steak. Unfortunately the lamb came out virtually rare so my wife returned it, and requested that it be cooked a little more. Soup breads and my steak were delicious.
Another blemish was twice my wife sent her tea back because it was just luke warm. She requested an extra hot tea.
If not for those blemishes this restaurant would have received a maximum review rating.
