No website. This is one of, I believe, two locations in MS. One of the best seafood buffets I've ever been to. High quality selections. Great service. I would highly recommend it. Family friendly.
Thought we'd try for lunch. The fried chicken was good, the shrimp and catfish I'd pass on, it wasn't good. The dessert bar was decent. Maybe it wasn't our thing after having fresh seafood for the past week.

I am a big fan of the Dairy Queen franchise in general, but I must tell you that the one in Magee, Mississippi (Hwy. 49 South on the way to Hattiesburg) is extraordinary.
My wife and I were greeted by a large team of teens and young adults under the supervision of an excellent manager. The place was clean and crowded; however, the employees were well skilled and handled the crowd with great efficiency and precision.
I ordered a large strawberry sundae, and my wife enjoyed a Turtle Pecan Truffle Blizzard.
Both were very, very good, and the entire experience was a delight.
I would definitely return.

Large Yellow building, located on the hill next door to Wal-Mart. Coming from Jackson building sets on the Right, Coming from Hattiesburg building sets on the Left
On a busy trip to Jackson in the rain. Traffic slowed down in Magee so we stopped at Jose's for a quick lunch. The waitress seated, us told us what her favorites were on the lunch menu and took our drink order. Someone else brought chips and salsa with individual salsa cups. We decided to try numbers 10 and 11 which were squash, green and red peppers and onions covered in Mexican rice and queso blanco with either chicken or steak fajitas meat. My steak was very tender as was the chicken my husband ordered. The chips were thin crisp and warm and the salsa was tasty with just enough spice. The drinks were served in small pitchers so refills were not necessary. Staff was attentive and friendly. The owner stopped by our table and told us they have been in business there for 16 years! Their food was better than any Mexican restaurant I have frequented on the MS Gulf Coast. I am pleased to find such a good Mexican restaurant In MS and plan to stop there again when on my way north on 49. Their prices were very reasonable too!!!

This casual restaurant serves great burgers and fantastic onion rings. The burgers are large and tasty and come with the Zip sauce that enhances their flavor. They have been voted one of the best hamburgers in Mississippi. The onion rings were better than most we have had and the fried dill pickles were a treat - again dipped in the Zip sauce. If you are used to New Orleans poboys, you should avoid the shrimp poboy here - small and not great bread. Overall, we have a fun dinner with friends from Jackson.

Burgers
We found Becky's on Trip Advisor & we're not disappointed!!! Lots of variety on the menu. Excellent catfish sandwich, bacon cheeseburger (huge), potato salad, fried okra, tater tots (no, we couldn't eat it all). Becky & staff very friendly. Also very inexpensive! It is off the beaten path but worth the excursion (just a few country miles off Hwy 49). Highly recommend for some good eatin'!!!
BTW, most people appeared to be regulars & take out. We are on her picnic tables (OK today because not too sunny/hot. )

*Chicken Pasta, pasta is tossed in the homemade salad dressing and served with sweet pickles.
*Homemade chicken salad, served on lettuce, wheat bread or croissant.
*Club Sandwich, ham, Turkey, lettuce, tomato and cheese, served on wheat bread or croissant.
*Fruity Chicken Salad, a sweet chicken salad with grapes, apples and toasted pecans. Served on lettuce.
*Hot Ham and Cheese Croissant, served warm and melty.
* Chef Salad, fresh lettuce and veggies, topped with ham.
If you still can't decide, then create a combo plate! Homemade house dressing is unbelievable, you can eat with anything. Ranch dressing is also homemade and is a favorite. Both are available to buy along with the sweet pickles. Loaded Potato Soup is available in the winter months. They are open Tuesday - Friday 11-2. A sweet of the day comes with your order!

The service is usually poor, the waitstaff is poorly trained and uneducated about the menu and safe food handling, and orders are rarely correct. I love mcalisters, love the menu, love the food but this one needs some staff training.

We went here after a bad experience at another restaurant. The difference in service was unbelievable.
Our waiter, Rambo was one of the best I have had in a breakfast style restaurant. He was very attentive and professional. The rest of the staff was very professional and nice.
Food was great. We will definitely returne here when we go through Magee again.

We love to eat at Popeyes Chicken because of the variety of their chicken. My husband likes the spicy and I like the mild. Their chicken is always cooked just right and I love the crunchy texture of the finished product.
