The Blue Wing was opened in 2005 on the site of a well known local saloon of that name that operated from the 1880s until the 1920s. It is separated by a relaxing garden from the fully restored Tallman Hotel. A full bar and seating inside is complimented by seating in the garden and on a heated veranda. Quality food and drink is served in a relaxing atmosphere at lunch and dinner seven days a week. Live music is performed at Sunday Brunch, Sunday Supper, Monday Night Blues and for the special $20 Tuesdays.
Blue Wing is a casual yet upscale restaurant affiliated with the Tallman Hotel next door. The food is comfort style made with high quality ingredients. Burgers are a best bet and they offer beef or buffalo. The menu could use some updating, imo and I...MoreMany thanks for your positive review of the Blue Wing. Please come back. Bernie

The restaurant was setup for our tour group of 44 people so that we had the restaurant all to ourselves. The tables were delightfully ready with blue wine bottles filled with cold water, and there were cute salt and pepper shakers at each table. The artwork on the walls was beautiful. My lunch of the burger was excellent, and probably the best I have ever had. The servers were great. They were friendly and fast. The kitchen staff were great, too.

My uncle brought me here alot when I was a teenager and now I'm bringing my daughter. It's a down home feel where you feel welcome. I would rather go there for breakfast than the casino that serves a cheaper breakfast. They care about you and want you to come back. Your not just a number like you are at the casino. Try it you will be happy you did.

Spotted this while driving by. Tested several items. All good. Place was busy. Staff was friendly. If I get up early enough, there should be a larger variety to sample.

My husband practically squealed with delight when he saw Foster's Freeze as we drove through Lucerne to our accommodations in Nice. Having grown up in So CA, he had frequented Foster's Freeze on numerous occasions but hasn't been there since moving to WA state in 1970. We were in the area for a week and made several trips to Foster's Freeze for 'dessert'. The milkshakes are just yummy...and huge! I highly recommend a peanut butter/hot fudge shake. This particular Foster's Freeze is celebrating their 50th anniversary, so, at my insistence - my husband bought a commemorative t-shirt. Can't wait to show it to the family at Christmas!

We specialize in Fresh Daily BBQ, Traditional Mediterranean Cuisine, Mexican Dishes, Unique Sandwiches, and Vegetarian Specialties inspired by Jimmy and Julia's recipes
This is a great lunch-time haunt. With an out-door grill and an menu containing an extensive domestic and middle eastern flair there are choices here for all. Dedicated to the luch-time blitz Jimmy's has enough staff and an outdoor charcoal grill pumping out a great, flavorful sandwiches and related dishes.
As you approach the cashier, grab a drink from the cooler to your left, and a bag of chips right by the cashier.
I've never left hungry or disappointed.

We had lunch here, and the food was average, but it was hard to enjoy anything with the heat. I think the a/c may have been out, but seriously, even the ice in the glasses didn't stay! Also, the upholstery on booths is torn and the whole place looks a little tired. Good, friendly service, though.

Followed the recommendation of other Trip Advisors and were not disappointed. Many varieties of burgers, served not with chips of fries, but a very fresh local salad with small, tender, bright green and red varieties of lettuces. Hummus looked good, but choose the chicken sandwich with a wonderful sunflower pesto and garlic aioli. Other lunch was the vegetarian sandwich with wonderful eggplant and mushrooms as well as other veggies. Locals came in for other entrees and obviously knew that everything was good. Too full for dessert, but the chocolate filled cannoli looked fabulous.

I love taking advantage of my time on the road by experiencing local fares. I found Park Place on opentable, and the experience did not disappoint.

We heard good things about this place and were disappointed it had moved from Lucerne. You can find them in Clearlake (the town) by Redbud park. On the Friday we visited they had a guitar player that was pretty good. Not many people in the place. The food however was just ok. I recommend the fresh spring rolls with shrimp. Really that was the only thing we had that was decent. The special garlic chicken was bland and the Larb chicken salad was plain awful (I couldn't eat it).
