Generous portions on every entree and their pizza has ruined us for Lino's. Potato Crusted Cod, Prime Rib inches thick, Rack of Lamb that's to die for and pizza that broke our Lino's habit several years back. My wife and I and our family have...MoreThank you very much for the wonderful review

The Dinner Party is our inspiration. We have communal seating, chefs serving your food, and a group of bartenders creating innovative cocktails. Our passion is local foods; we work with many area farmers and producers to create a simple yet elegant menu featuring what's fresh from the area. Located in a historic district downtown, we have built our tables and bar from reclaimed wood that dates back to the 1850's. A warm urban restaurant dedicated to supporting local industry.
Very cool place in the downtown area. It has great atmosphere and the food is tasty and even a bit inspiring. Great local seasonal food served with pride and a dash of courage of trying new combinations and tastes. The staff was great.

Stopped in for an early Sunday evening dinner with friends. We all picked from their Specials menu and were delighted. My baked mostacholi was the best I have had.
Very slow in the restaurant, as was our waiter. Great food, but service didn't meet expectations for this place.

Met a friend for dinner here and I was pleasantly surprised. The beer selection is good, with many selections on draft along with bottles and cans. The food was very good, and even though my friend accidentally ate some of my pulled pork sandwich, the service got me a new sandwich within a few minutes. Service was very good making food recommendations providing good conversation. Beers usually rotate so check before going. Will definitely come again with my buddy for dinner and beer. There are airplane related decorations inside Aero, which is appropriate.
There was a Tap Takeover with Victory Brewing representatives in person(I know him fairly well), Aero has Tap Takeovers on Thursday nights.

We love this restaurant for its excellent Italian food. The pizza and pasta are wonderful. It draws a family oriented crowd with it's easygoing attitude, very reasonable prices, neat decor and prompt service. Only downside is the staff can lack energy and appear complacent.

They have very good burgers, salmon, ribs, steaks, chicken, etc. I particularly like the grilled salmon with the backyard seasoning. The Saturday night prime rib special is worth the trip. They also have a trivia night on Wednesdays. The food is reasonably priced. The servers are very friendly and helpful. The salads though are drenched in dressing. I'd suggest getting the dressing on the side if possible.

Party of 5 on busy first Friday in lent, we arrived about 6:30 and had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. We were taken to the upstairs dining room. It was a nice room with about 6 tables in it. It was enjoyably quiet from the normal restaurant noise. We had Calamari and onion rings for an appetizer. They were very good. Calamari was lightly battered and done to perfection, served with a cocktail sauce. Onions rings were huge, the size of small donuts. They were also good. Two of us had the fried cod and French fries, This was excellent, cod portion was huge and lightly battered, great homemade tartar sauce and coleslaw. The French fries were also very good, probably double fried, nice and crispy. The baked cod was ok very good service. had drinks in 5 minute appetizer in 20 and dinner in 35. reasonably priced and very good food , will go back. They did a nice job on a very busy night.

Stumbled on this place after departing Holiday Inn, in need of road food before heading home.
An absolutely amazing selection of very tasty and even healthy fast food selections. My first thought upon seeing the menu was, "This place would sell food like crazy in my hometown. Teens loved their meals.
We ordered southwest chicken wrap, milk shakes, sweet potato fries, bacon burgers, a hotdog, and yes, the cheesy fries are great. Everything we ordered was delicious and was eaten on the road.
Next time we come through Rockford we will plan a stop here.

We come every year for an Icehogs game and spend the night in town. We wanted to try a new place to have a late lunch so we decided to come here. It is tucked back off the main drag, but the building is beautiful on the outside. When we arrived we were seated promptly and served in great time. We ordered the deep fried bacon (just had to try it). It was so rich and delicious. Only problem was that there was a tortilla chip attached to one of the pieces of bacon (it had been fried and refried) you can see it in the picture below. Made me think how it was missed when they took it out. No big deal, because it was really good. At our table we had one who ordered the filet mignon, I ordered the sea scallops with risotto, and my husband got a hamburger. Wait staff was perfect in timing, and our food was really good except.... My risotto was like paper mache paste. It was so gross I could not eat it at all (you can see in my picture). The scallops were some of the best but 4 (on the smallish side) scallops (very tender) but the lemon butter sauce really had no flavor and mushy gross risotto for $25 was very disappointing. I left hungry. On the other side the steak and the burger were very good. The potatoes with the steak were outstanding. I would have given this an excellent rating if only my dish was better. I would go back but would stay clear of the scallops and order a steak.
