Lovelock is the county seat of Pershing County, Nevada, United States, in which it is the only incorporated city. It is the namesake of a nearby medium-security men's prison and a Cold War-era gunnery range. Formerly a stop for settlers on their way to California and later a train depot, the town's economy remains based on farming, mining and increasingly on tourism.

Found this cute funky place for breakfast in our recent road trip heading east on I-80 from Reno. Definitely a good local spot and had nice people. It was kind of humorous when my husband asked if the breakfast burrito was smothered and she looked at him like he was speaking a different language and said, "huh?" So he asked do they have green chili they could put on top and she said no, the stuff is all in the burrito? She totally didn't get what he was asking. They did end of finding some salsa for his breakfast burrito and he really enjoyed it. It was pretty big and very good.
Other then that little quirkiness I ordered the "Bing" 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs and bacon. Even with it being a half order it was a large serving and a lot of food. Biscuits were freshly made and the gravy was really good. Eggs cooked just as I ordered and bacon crisp.
They have a full menu with sandwiches and other items for lunch and dinner. Cute little place off the main highway and supports local businesses instead of chain restaurants.
Overall a great find!

I love Temptations. It's the only place in Lovelock where you can get a sandwich for lunch, buy some cold cuts, get an ice cream cone, and finish off with coffee and cute gifts. It's a one stop shop and the owner Patty is wonderful. They will host special parties and have a painting class once a month. Go in, Shop, get a glass of wine and some ice cream! Also, they are now selling take and bake pizza's! They are awesome!

I love Mexican food and La Casita is a winner! We really weren't expecting much because there weren't many reviews on trip advisor and we have a tendency to follow restaurants with lots of reviews. In this case,in this little tiny town, we decided to take a chance. If you are ever passing through Lovelock Nevada give this little restaurant a try. We are glad we did! Good food good people , a hidden gem.

This was a pleasant surprise for us. Stopped for gas and found this sub shop. Very pleasant employees. Sandwiches were tops.

Well it won't be done your way.
If you want hash browns instead of baked potato. NO
You want salad instead of soup. NO
Vegatables over cooked plus it was the Safeway frozen kind.
Baked potato was the small type direct from Safeway.
Bartender has to work cashiers cage and bartend at the same time. Only 2 customers but took 10 mins to get drink. Then after I paid waited forever to get change while she ram rodded 3 other employees.
This place has done a good job of remodeling. The owners should become remodelers because running a restaurant/bar is not one of their strengths.
In fact the bullheaded way of operation in their restaurant will cause this place to fail.
Earlier remarks about drug use in this place became apparent to me after eating there.
Go instead to Cowboy or the Mexican place.

It was a Sunday & having been on the road for a long time, we were ready for lunch. We checked the other Trip Advisor recommendations 1st, but everything was closed with the exception of McDonald's & the Pizza Factory. We decided to skip McD & opted to try the P.F..
The air smelled like stale cigarettes, most of the tables hadn't been bussed, & there was food on the floor around the tables that were clear. Only 1 table was occupied, the 2 visible employees were lounging about, so It would appear that the establishment's employees were not motivated and/or trained to use a broom & dustpan.
The salad bar contents were tired looking, it was too hot for pizza, so we ordered sandwiches. The warm meatball sandwich was OK & my Turkey & cheese sandwich was fine.
The bathroom was clean, though.

Nothing special here, but the dining room and bathrooms are clean. Right off the 80 on Main Street.standard McDonald's fare.
