This restaurant was clean, the décor was exciting and the food was hot & tasty. The food was not authentic Mexican but was more Tex-Mex. This was a good stop with a great view of a mighty river.

Was a pleasant surprise to find this nice Dairy Queen. Freshly prepared, very clean and so handy to our hotel. Was very busy so apparently it is a popular spot - highly recommend it for a quick bite or just an ice cream!

This is our second visit and we love it! This village was established by parents concerned about where their handicapped children would work and live as adults. The food is amazing and the prices are very reasonable and supporting this cause is reason enough to visit this great restaurant! It also sits on the Mississippi River so the view from the dining room is
amazing.

nothing fancy but really good food at a very reasonable price. The burgers are one of a kind. As the name implies the burgers are"fat!" I would recommend any of the burgers but I had the Double Fat Boy Bacon Cheeseburger. Mouth watering from the word go! the onion rings were great.Fantasticl experience for a small town!

Atmosphere was good. They have a smoking section and non-smoking section. They do have a bar but it was not on at the time. The chicken sandwich was okay. If you want a place to sit down to eat this is a decent place. They make the chips in the restaurant.

The management is not very friendly and the food is expensive. The place is decorated very nicely but that is the only positive remark that I can think of.

Izola's is a real sleeper. The food was absolutely delicious. It was obvious that our sandwiches were made fresh after the order was placed. It took a little longer but well worth the wait. Highly recommend the prime rib sandwich - tender, tasty, and it hangs over the bun all around. Real onion rings with hand made breading that doesn't overpower the sweetness of the fresh cut rings. Leave your pretentiousness on the trunk of your car and enjoy this little jewel. The service is good and the cost is quite reasonable. I will stop by again at the first opportunity. Family friendly atmosphere.

We were staying in Louisiana, Missouri one night on our way back home. About 6:30, we thought we should get some dinner. After consulting TripAdvisor, and driving about some, and talking with a shop clerk, we determined that three of the top rated places to eat in this tiny town weren’t open (one of them permanently). There are two Mexican restaurants in town which we declined to visit as we had Mexican food just two nights ago. We ended up at Domenico’s where we shared an order of garlic knots, Joan had mostaccioli and I had a personal pan pizza. We both like our entrees but the highlight were the garlic knots - most excellent.
About our server: friendly, and she managed to get the job done but not without struggling a bit. Her first difficulty was in getting us our appetizer. She first brought an order of onion rings to our table. We said “We ordered the garlic knots.” She came back a little later with some cheese bread. We reminded her that we wanted garlic knots. The third time was a charm. And, as I said before, they were excellent. About the time we were finishing, she noticed that I had only a small portion of my soft drink left. She asked if I wanted more. I hesitated, thinking I had enough left in my glass, but then said “Okay, but just a little” to which she replied “I’ll bring you half a glass.” Fine. She took my glass and disappeared. Later I saw her cleaning off tables. I remarked to Joan that I should not have asked for more as now I had none. Joan agreed to share her remaining soft drink with me. That would work. But then, finally, our waitress appeared and apologized for forgetting about me as she laid a completely full glass of Pepsi on the table. After she left, Joan remarked “It appears that she is having trouble focusing tonight.” I agreed. (I guess this counts as another rant?)
Oh yes, to top it off, a check was never brought to our table. No problem. We walked up to the cashier’s station where our waitress stood waiting to take care of us. After telling her that we did not have a ticket, she began looking for it on her counter. She couldn’t find it so I told her what we had. Intent on finding the ticket, she excused herself and disappeared briefly. Upon her return she searched again but still was unable to find the ticket. She then asked me what we had. About half-way through a repeat of our order, she interrupted saying “Oh here it is, right here.” Okay. Hopefully she will have a better day tomorrow.

This establishment is a new offering to a town that has lost several eateries as of late. I was impressed by the friendly and quick service and very reasonable prices. It has already attracted a group of regulars and locals and visitors alike hope that it will continue to enjoy a good business in a restaurant starved community. We will be back!
