The GRiND is a gourmet sandwich and coffee shop. We offer fresh, local, seasonal products from area providers and strive to serve our guests only the freshest, local ingredients. We are open Monday -Friday from 7am to 6pm. Fresh breakfast, lunch, soup, smoothies, frappes, and desserts.
Lunch at the Grind today was awesome. Bagel and lox with tomato, cucumber, onion and cream cheese, all wonderful. Fresh and tasty! Service from John was great, friendly, personable, professional and fun. A neat and clean environment with nicely decorated interior. Very enjoyable!

Like the title said, good Breakfast anytime, skip the burgers. Salad was so small it would not cover the burger; salad dressing came in a bottle from the store. Hamburgers were just grilled meat on a bun. Chicken strips were over cooked and flavorless. People are friendly and really nice. They only take cash and will point you to the ATM if you show a credit/debit card.

Love this place. The food is always tasty and the prices are reasonable. I had a grilled shrimp salad loaded with shrimp, egg, onion, croutons and greens, it was delish. My husband had a shrimp salad sandwich with sweet potato fries and coleslaw which he enjoyed as well. The sweet potato fries served here are the best in Horry County. You'll have to come and try them yourself. We shared a slice of cheesecake for dessert; it was yummy. I recommend this place for everyone regardless of age. Give it a try.

Really good pizza with unique taste. Subs are really good also. Wait staff are fairly young, but attentive. This establishment is worth stopping in and giving it a try. The owner is very friendly and aims to please.

Smaller than most pancake houses in the Myrtle Beach area, it still competes well with the larger places. My wife and I have eaten there three times now, and each time the service was quick and the food was excellent. She loved the Southern special with biscuit and gravy, but it was so much that she had to get a doggy bag (didn't want the extra food to go to waste!). I had the pancake combo with scrambled eggs and bacon. The eggs were perfect and the bacon was nice and crispy. The pancakes were great with butter and syrup. I normally don't experiment much with breakfast fare, but my experience so far encourages my to try some different menu items next time we go there.
The restaurant atmosphere is down home and the service is friendly. It's usually not very crowded so service tends to be fairly quick. Prices are very reasonable. And the "library" near the restaurant entrance is quirky and interesting, especially if you've been a world traveler.
The restaurant is on SC9 Business just a couple of blocks west of the intersection with Rt 701. It's a great place to stop on your way to Myrtle Beach from inland SC in the morning, or if you are leaving Myrtle Beach in the morning on your way to parts elsewhere and want a nice break in the drive before you get too far down the road.

What a surprise is food like this in Loris! Sure Loris is a nice little town although on a Sunday afternoon you're likely to find only a couple of restaurants open, not counting fast food.
Benny's Hibachi first served us Shrimp Tempura Sushi, which is cooked and the only sushi I want. Delicious doesn't even begin to cover that tasty treat. Then we had hibachi style chicken and shrimp with vegetables with a touch of ginger and yum yum sauces.
Our waiter was pleasant and we were surprised to see and sit in comfortable, attractive surroundings. It just goes to prove you don't judge a book or restaurant by its cover. Benny's Hibachi is worth the stop!

This is our neighborhood restaurant. Having lived near China Town in NYC for 50 years, I think I'm spoiled, but this place has excellent food.
They're also open quite late, which is amazing for such a small town & very much appreciated my my husband & I. It was 10PM last night when we were on our way home & hungry. All food is fresh & made to order. We even have some leftovers that I'm looking forward to.
The clerk who waited on us (take out) was very pleasant & helpful.

Friends and I eat breakfast there six days per week and lunch quite often. Food is very good, with ample portions and the prices are reasonable. The owner Tammie and her staff are always friendly and efficient. If you like very good food, served efficiently, with a smile and at a reasonable price, I just don't believe you can beat the Backyard BBQ. Don't let the name fool you, they have BBQ + most anything else you want.
