We are always on the lookout for a good drive in and we are very glad we found this one.
It needs a coat of paint, signs renewed and general sprucing up on the outside for curb appeal, but dont let that stop you from having a tray of delicious food hung on the window of your car by a friendly waitress.
We had hot dogs with traditional southern West Virginia Chili and Slaw on top of mustard and onions and they were a very good dog with a steamed bun.
The onion rings were hot, golden and crunchy, obviously cooked in fresh perfect temperature oil as they were not the slightest bit greasy.
I topped off my tank with a blackberry milkshake that was so thick, I had to ask for a spoon to eat it as drinking it thru a straw was out of the question unless I let it set a good long time.
Nothing fancy about it, its a drive in with great food with a menu neatly painted on a billboard in the parking lot.
They offer the typical hot dog, hamburger, BBQ fair and sides along with chicken, chicken livers and gizzards and an assortment of seafood including shrimp and oysters.
No doubt this went into my app of favorite places on my phone and will be on the scope for another great lunch sometime in the future.

I am so glad I found this franchise. The food is delicious. This is the best sausage biscuit and gravy I have ever had. I eat this on a regular basis. I have tried other menu items, but they got the sausage and biscuit so right that it is my favorite. The biscuit is dense with a nice crisp edge, and the sausage has a great flavor and texture. The gravy is delicious, just the right texture, and reminds of homemade.
The staff is not overly friendly but they are attentive. I think this is just more a characteristic of West Virginians in general, rather than a flaw in the service. It's mostly young people, but they get you your food quickly and it is hearty fare.

Looking for a cooked to order breakfast instead of hotel's offerings, so I took off for the closest place I could think of.
Decent crowd for a Friday morning (small dining area). I ordered scrambled eggs, bacon and home fries--bread choices were toast or biscuit.
The bacon was so thin you could see though it and it had just about as much taste. Eggs were so overcooked they were tough; potatoes had been cooked earlier and poorly reheated and the biscuit had been microwaved to death. Too hot to handle and too dense to cut. This lump of dough would better be served as a rock.
Thankfully, I didn't spend a lot on this meal or I would have been even more disappointed. Not the place I remember from years ago.

I have been going here since I was a child headed to ballet lessons. This town was a booming coal mining town, and now is home to the Hatfield and McCoy trails. I go often to see family and never miss hitting the bakery and Morrisons drive In!

Their pizza is amazing but today I went outside the box and got Chicken Alfredo. The chicken tastes like the frozen fajita chicken strips and the noodles tatted like water. The sauce was decent at best. I think I'll stick to the pizza. The service sucked too. Waited for ever to get a drink, never got a refill, and didn't see her again after I got my food.

Being here for a few months on business has taken a toll on me. This little coffeeshop is the only redeeming thing about Logan.
The owner is so friendly. It has everything I want: good music, atmosphere, art and most importantly, fantastic coffee. I got a sf salted caramel macchiato and loved it. My husband got lunch and said the chicken salad sandwhich was great. I feel like I'm not in Logan when I'm here. I just didn't want to leave. We will be back for sure. Thank goodness for Hot Cup Coffee!!!

Logan was once a thriving and bustling county seat and when the coal mines were running three shifts, it was crowded with shoppers. It is now on the downturn and struggling. We were visiting in the area and looking for a place to eat. We saw this restaurant on line and read the reviews. We went looking for a nice meal. The staff was friendly but not really trained. I had the 9oz filet and it was neither 9oz nor a filet. It looked more like skirt steak and was rubbery. My husband had chicken filet that was from a distributor. The baked potato had been baked some hours before and was beginning to turn brown. The broccoli was not overcooked. We had no alcohol and the tab was $60.00.

Was in Logan for 2 months on business, and this was one of the local restaurants. I'm from Southern California and live off of Mexican food. With the Hispanic population in California, we do have the best family ran restaurants around.
The pricing was fair, chips & salsa not exciting, and food average. I judge a Mexican restaurant on their Chile Rellenos, and these were not good. Needless to say, I didn't go back.
