I was under the impression this place was close to the interstate, not. But, it was worth the few extra minutes to get there. Carrot cake is awesome, next trip, red velvet.

I went and checked this place out after watching a doubleheader at UWA. It was crowded, but got a table immediately. I got the NY Strip and it was probably the best steak I remember eating. Twice baked potato and baked beans were wonderful too. Incredibly friendly, funny and helpful waitress too! I wish there was one of these in my hometown!

This is a new restaurant that opened here this summer. It serves coffee, tea, drinks, baked good, wraps and sandwiches. It is open six days a week.
Good coffee variety with a vegetarian menu and import bottled beers make this coffee shop by day and pub by night a great place to unwind. Its regulars tend to be of the Bohemian genre, which is unique these days especially in a very small university town. Nice waiting staff and comfortable seating much like the pubs in Ireland.

While on a college road trip for my son, we asked several locals to give us ideas for lunch. Everyone suggested Dandy Don's so we gave it a try. This is your typical "hole in the wall" place, but don't judge this book by its cover. The food was amazing! We ordered burgers, fries, and hot wings and was so good. No frozen hamburger patties at Don's and the prices are fantastic! The ladies behind the counter couldn't have been nicer and were very helpful, noticing right away that we had not been there before. We all enjoyed our lunch and will certainly be back to this classic burger joint.

We pulled off the road to eat here figuring we’d find a Mexican restaurant readily. I’d been out of the country for two months and was looking forward to some guacamole. I was very, very disappointed. I ordered the Guacamole salad (the only way to just order guacamole here) and the server told me it was a good portion. What I got was a good size plate of shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes with a dollop of less than two tablespoons of guacamole on top. The cost was $3.95. Now $4 isn’t much but they could have maybe provided 1/4 up of the stuff in the “Guacamole” salad. They should change the menu to say they have a salad with a guacamole garnish!!
The chips they initially brought to our table were very crumbly and tasted rancid. I asked for a new basket and the replacement was just fine and the chips were nice and whole. Where the rancid ones came from was beyond me. The table salsa was bland and could have done with more seasonings. My husband had their four vegetarian enchiladas and said they were OK and that he enjoyed the bean enchilada the best.
I travel this road often when visiting relatives in Texas and will not stop by again based on my experience.

Don't expect to be greeted. Sausage biscuit cold as a wedge. Husband's egg McMuffin's size has shrunk and he got yelled at in the drive through. Go on in to Livingston and Hardee's is on the right on highway 11. Their biscuits never miss. McDonald's needs to get out of the biscuit business and maybe business altogether but due to this breakfast experience I will not be going back to see. Not for a hamburger or anything else.

Stopped for drinks. Wife-approved restaurant. Large parking lot and bathrooms should be good for bus traffic.

You can get in through the convenience store but I think there is a dedicated entrance as well. We stopped for lunch, when there was a buffet. Went because of the good Yelp reviews, good food and it's fun to be eat Indian in a gas station in Alabama.

This little gas station in the middle of nowhere includes an Indian restaurant called 'Taste of India' with a delicious home made buffet. 11$ a person. It's on the small side fyi, there was 2 different meat dishes and 3 veggie dishes plus rice, naan and basic salad stuff...but it was delicious, fresh and you could have as much as you wanted. Great spot. A million times better than the McDonald's across the street. I highly recommend this great little place.

Great buffet-style food with a hot line, short-order, big salad bar and deserts up the middle; and plenty of seating with the new addition. This cafeteria open to the public is great for locals with few choices in a small town, and unbeatable for best fried chicken anywhere. There's something about cafeteria food, in that you have many choices to make a complete plate.
