We are a small town, family owned restaurant. We can seat 60 people inside. We have a two small private rooms. One will seat 12 and the other seats 20. We have a small outside patio that will seat 15. Our menu is of course smoked meats. Pulled pork, pulled Turkey, beef brisket and chicken halves are offered certain days each week. We have smoked meats fresh each day. We also feature a grilled hamburger and hand patted hamburger steak as well as chicken tenders. We hand bread our own fried pickles and make a huge pork nacho. We make our own potato salad, cole slaw and baked beans. Our deserts are homemade each day. Our Banana Pudding is a must try!
The folks at Tennessee Barbeque providing outstanding catering services. They provide great meals at reasonable prices. Their hand cut ribeye steaks were a surprise. You don't think a barbeque place would have great steaks but they do. Great people, great food, great prices. If you are visiting the Livingston, Tennessee area, please stop by Tennessee Barbeque. You will not be disappointed.

We were there late on a Friday night and all the staff were busy but still took the time to be polite and even friendly. The food was what you would expect from fast food. It was hot and fresh and beyond that was average fast food.

A former governor's house. A simple, but elegant layout. Menu items that disclose where the meats originally come from. 4 or 5 choices of Mayfield ice creams to top it off.
I saw this on TA earlier today and, with my wife wanting to visit the Muddy Pond General Store 30 minutes to the South, we decided on here for lunch. We were glad we did. The portions were not huge, but adequate. Our glasses were rarely empty and the staff was friendly. The food was tasty and ... different, in a good way. And, it was neither cheap nor expensive; $41 for 3 people, including single scoops for all of us and tip.
Certainly worth a visit if you're in the area, even if you just want to see the interior and get a scoop of ice cream.

Stopped in around noon on a Sunday.
Place was busy but no waiting.
Typical Tex/Mex atmoaphere..with an exception of horrendous door alarm that actual played a tune every time the door open...annoying.
As with most tex/Mex restaurants chips and salsa come quickly...an older lady quickly tossed them on our table without a word.
Then we sat for several moments until finally a server came to take our drink order.
I ordered a Modelo everyone else ordered water...after several minutes the waters came Modelo...after several more moments our server returned with word that they were out of Modelo...I ordered a Corona...adter several moments my corona arrived...tgrn our server left without taking our food order..
After a while our server returned to take our order.
My wife and I both ordered the Chimichanga Supremes which were 4 varieties ( chicken, steak, shrimp and beef)of mini Chimichangas with the typical guacamole salad.
My wife ordered no guacamole and I ordered xtra.
After several minutes the Chimichangas arrived...th
ey did not hold the guacamole on my wife's and did not add xtra to mine...
Rather than extend our time further I picked the guacamole from here meal myself and put on mine.
As we began to try the Chimichangas we realized they had mixed the variety up and I had 2 chickens and 2 shrimp ...she has 2 need and 2 steak....ao we had to swap those out with each other.
During this whole process our server checked on us 1 time..
As for the food it was just ok..
This type of service and mediocre food may be Ok for a small community like Livingston but would not be acceptable in a larger market.
We were passing thru on our way to a near by State Park...
We would not go back.

The pizza is fresh and delicious! Everything is homemade right down to the blue cheese wing sauce. It isn't fast food quick, but it's well worth the wait. Great atmosphere also.

The best Snow Cones around. Over 70 flavors and over 200 combinations. Toppings include condensed milk and caramel. Block ice for sale. Baked goods and catering available
The Sno Shack is in a lovely historic building neatly tucked away just off the amazing Livingston town square. The coconut shaved ice is the bomb!

I had a simple meal but it was delicious! I had a hamburger and french fries and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I cannot speak for their other meals but what I had was very good! It is a small little place that shares a space with a antique shop. The server/cook/cash register lady was nice.

This is a funny restaurant chain, with most of them open very late or 24 hours. It never fails that they are short on help. You'll find very local food choices and great people watching. I gather they don't pay their help very well. Yet through perhaps at least 50 meals there, I've never had a bad one. The locals that work here, while a bit worn down by the economy, are very friendly, decent locals who typify this part of Tennessee.
You might find Hank Williams on the Juke Box...put your quarters in and enjoy the music and pork chops. I didn't read other reviews before I wrote this...but I don't expect that they are 5 stars! Ha ha.....you'll know what I mean if you've eaten here, but seriously, for the price and type of restaurant it is quite good.
