Little Falls is a city in Herkimer County, New York, United States. The population was 4,946 at the 2010 census. The city is built on both sides of the Mohawk River, at a point at which rapids had impeded travel upriver. Transportation through the valley was improved by construction of the Erie Canal, completed in 1825 and connecting the Great Lakes with the Hudson River.

Hannah makes the best desserts! We've enjoyed everything from pies, cakes, cupcakes, lobster tails, "dino bites," dream cakes and cookies. And, they serve Utica Coffee. Delish! Hannah and Ed are the greatest! They always make you feel welcome and right at home!

There was no one in the cafe and the owner was not enthusiastic about his cafe and serving us. When we ordered he did not tell us why type of cheese and how we wanted our eggs cooked. When we payed for everything we had to use cash because it is cash only and when we gave him a 20 he said he didn't have change for it...it's cash only and you don't have any money to give back to us??? We waited for a long time to get our bagel sandwiches and when we got them we were all missing stuff and realized everything was microwaved:the egg the bacon just the whole sandwich. Very very bad quality and the egg was slightly green in the yolk because it was microwaved so much

My friends and husband had dinner reservations at Beardslee Castle (also located in Little Falls, NY), but it was a beautiful Saturday afternoon and we decided to head over to Little Falls and see some local sights. We live about 1.5 hours away. We found the Copper Moose on Facebook and learned that it was close by to the castle and that it had several craft beers on tap. Whe arrived on a Saturday afternoon in early November at approximately 4:30 p.m. and were told we could sit at the bar or at the high standing pub tables in the bar area. The four of us choose to sit at the pub tables and we eat ordered a 4-flight sampler for $7.00 each. There was a nice variety of dark, IPA, ales and wheat beers so that we all found several that we liked. The big hit was the Cinnamon Roll beer. It was fantastic and I highly recommend it. The bartender provided us with our orders and drinks, but one of the female servers (sorry I didn't catch her name) came over unsolicited and provided some added and helpful information about the beers and pairings. We ended up also ordering an appetizer (the poutin) and it was yummy! The bathrooms (single use private bathrooms - female and a female/male) were clean. Also, you can't miss this place, located on Main Street, as it has a full-size copper moose in the front window! We will definitely be back.

We were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The young server was attentive, well versed on the menu and gave us excellent wine by the glass selection for each meal. My husband was disappointed not to see escargot on the menu and asked if the chef...MoreThank you for the kind words. The art work changes about every 6 months. James owner/chef

Because we had never been there, we thought that the best way to visit the restaurant was to make a reservation in the dungeon. This was our big mistake. Basically, we were blown away by the nasty bar music and crowds of people milling about. The wine list is very nice with numerous sparkling, red and white wines from which to choose. Although the dungeon menu is nice, we ended up choosing our selections from the upstairs menu. The food was very well prepared. The service was a bit spotty, with different individuals serving us. Unless you enjoy loud rock music and people walking by your table, it would make sense to eat in the main dining room. We will, next time we go there.

We stop here on most trips between ohio and the east coast. Best value in sandwiches. Including ZIPPY EGG SALAD! Eat well and inexpensively before getting to the coast; perhaps five minutes off the thruway, and worth it. Closed at about 3 p.m.; be sure to check hours. Also look at the surrounding antique shops and get a great cookie from Sal's.

Let me start with the positives...the staff was super friendly and our waitress Brandy provided first class service and was really attentive.
The building itself is in need of an update as it's very outdated, but that doesn't bother me. It's all about the food with me.
I ordered the bowtie pasta with a tomato cream sauce. The pasta was over cooked and the sauce was just okay. My husband ordered veal in a cream sauce with a side of pasta with red sauce. Unfortunately the small portion of veal resulted in him walking away hungry. However, he really enjoyed the cream sauce. The sauce on the pasta, on the other hand, reminded him of Ragu. He did not enjoy it. We are well traveled and usually have pasta in Italian restaurants (both in the US and Italy), and we make our own from scratch the Italian way. We have experienced many a restaurant, but this is one we would not return to. Average food with high prices for the area.

We were pleased to find this restaurant while traveling (thanks, Trip Advisor!) on a rainy afternoon. There were six different varieties of homemade soups, a large choice of sandwiches, paninis and salads. Everything is home made, including the delicious variety of cookies and muffins. (Sandwich Chef is open for breakfast too.) A cup of soup and a half-sandwich were only $6.50! I had the thick squash soup- perfect for fall- with 1/2 of a black bean burger on a toasted baguette. My husband had half of a Turkey club sandwich with a cup of cheeseburger chowder. The owner also sells her own canned goods- bread & butter pickles, pickled beets, chow-chow, BBQ sauce and jams. I couldn't leave without taking a peanut butter Hershey kiss cookie with me!

I had a hankering for some scallops and saw that they were on special, I talked my husband into stopping here for dinner. When I ordered the scallops, I was told that the backup chef didn't know how to cook them and asked if I wanted them fried because that is how he knew to cook them. Wound up with antipasta salad. Large portion for the price.

They have awesome macaroni salad! Their sandwiches are good and it's a nice atmosphere. My only negative comment is that I sometimes get breakfast (to go) from there and a couple times my breakfast sandwich was burned which I didn't realize til I was already home. I do enjoy going there for my lunch break.
