The burgers are bison. Beef on request. This is a small place with a small variety menu but they try to be inventive. The food is good but not a wow factor when we were there. The server was friendly but attentiveness was lacking. They seemed to be busy but it's a small place.

One of my favorite things about the Northern is the endless popcorn! But really, they have good apps, food and drinks. The food is reasonably priced and they have fun specials, taco Tuesday and wings Wednesday are my two favorites. If you're in the Chisago City/Lindstrom area stop in here, you can dine inside or on the deck.

We arrived to our hotel too early to check in, and since it was nearby we decided to go to the DQ for a cool treat. We were waited on right away. Plenty of room to relax, and you can't beat the great DQ treats!

When you enter Northwoods Roasterie, a cheerful barista welcomes you inside. Devoted customers converse over steaming cups of carefully brewed coffee. The cozy quarters overlook a full glass pane window into the roasting room. While the mood inside is instantly inviting, the true essence of a cup of coffee from Northwoods Roasterie is built on science precision and passion, starting with the bean.
The Coffee, the sandwiches, the yogurt, the treats but most of all the PEOPLE. Everyone greets you when you walk through the door and the staff ALWAYS have a smile on their faces. I love this shop and refuse to go anywhere else.

Big Game has a great selection of unique and delicious burgers all served with fries or tots for $8 to $10. Drink prices are reasonable and Happy Hour is 3 - 6 M - F.
Not a lot of atmosphere but friendly service and good food. Tuesday is apparently Bingo night.

I had a breakfast special. It was very good, inexpensive, and the serving size was large enough to either share or take some home for later. Everyone here was very friendly! Very nice, small-town atmosphere. Would recommend and would visit again if in Lindstrom.
Cheers! :D

A sustainable restaurant featuring simple comfort food intentionally prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
Excellent stop for coffee and fruit smoothie drinks. Extensive menu of other beverages and breakfast and lunch options. Many healthy options. Friendly service. The star of the show is the deck overlooking the waterfall - don't miss this opportunity.

Dude behind the counter was a jerk. No matter though, the donuts made up for it. Best dang donuts I have ever had. We tried the glazed and plain Swedish donuts, both were great but the plain was the winner. Holy cow.

We ordered take out from Pizza Man in Lindstrom this past weekend and it was on time, hot and tasty. The toppings are plentiful and the sauce is good. Try this owner operated joint, if you have an urge for a big pizza.

This is the type of pizza we like--Thin crust and loaded with toppings. We still prefer Red's, but we'll take out from here again if we are in the area
