We had just come from long drive, so very hungry and thirsty. We stated this, yet the waiter waited on 3 more tables before bringing us water. Only 7 tables in the restaurant, and only 4 with people. Waitress finally took our order. My husband ordereed steak, which was excellent, however I order spinich salad for $18.50. If I wanted egg on it, $2 more. Once served, I had to stir the salda to get any of the dressing distributed.
Local wine was $9/glass. Everything very expensive, considering the area and the small restaurant.
Oh, liked the music, but way too loud.

My wife and I decided to take a motorcycle ride to the quaint town of Exeter. Once there we stopped to have breakfast at Cappella's. What a delightful experience! We were warmly greeted and told about their many muffin choices. We selected the carrot muffin and found it to be very moist and tasty. As for beverages, my wife was surprised to find 3 iced tea favors in the serve yourself ice tea bar. I had a great cup of coffee. The owner, Sheldon, came out of kitchen and sat with us. We felt very welcomed in this tastefully decorated coffee house. Later in the day, I returned to Capella's to enjoy Brian E's music. It felt like I was in a living room full of friends. I will definitely be recommending this special place to my friends.

Tony's Pizza in Lindsay is the fourth Tony's restaurant to open as part of a family owned business since 1979. Anthony & Patricia Martinez are the original founders of the Tony's Pizza Restaurants, and their sons have carried on the Legacy by opening their own pizza restaurants. The Tony's Pizza Family has grown to a total 9 restaurants in the Kern and Tulare Counties.
About 25 of us went to Tony's on a Friday night and they got some tables together for us up front and served up good pizza and beer. They are pretty quick at getting your pizza made and the service at the counter was friendly and helpful

After touring the Sequoias all day, it was great to come back and find this cute little frozen yogurt shop. It's not on the main road through town. We wouldn't have found it if we hadn't searched the Internet for it. When we got in the middle of town, we found the whole area to be so quaint! We didn't have time to walk in the little shops, but we should have. This little shop was bright and colorful and run by the sweetest lady. You choose your own flavors of yogurt and then toppings and pay by weight. Very reasonable. Would love to visit again someday. There was a sign in the window that it's for sale. I hope someone buys it. It's a gem in that little town.

Biscuits and gravy, the BEST omelets, and The VERY BEST hot roast Turkey sandwich. Sheri, the owner has secret green beans, home made. If you have ever tasted better, please get a hold of me. There is not one thing I don't like about this place. Drive for miles and miles, you will not be disappointed. I have seen grumpy folks go in, and come out smiling. Customer service is the very best. Friendly place. Old town, old school taste, and a darn nice place!

Since the choice of restaurants in Lindsay is limited, this restaurant is a good option if you are not in the mood for pizza. The menu is typically Mexican with lot's of options for less than 10 dollars, an extensive list of food options for seniors, and a full bar.
