In the magnificent Jekerdal valley, just on the Belgian border, is Chateau Neercanne. The beautiful Baroque Gardens of the 17th century castle are divided over four levels, all of them UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The highest Terrace offers a wonderful view over of the Gardens and the magnificent valley. Chateau Neercanne has a rich cultural and culinary tradition. Treat yourself to dinner at the a la carte Restaurant Chateau Neercanne. Our attractive marl-built function rooms are ideal locations for parties, receptions and meetings. The unique wine cellars in the marl caves form an unparalleled setting for a wine-tasting session or for enjoying an aperitif.
My husband and I had our 15 year anniversary at this restaurant. But first we were invited for a glass of champagne in the caves. The cave was very nicely decorated and there were little candles burning. At the restaurant we had this very nice...MoreBeste Yvonne C. This restaurant looks quite unobtrusive on the outside and it's cosy and welcoming on the inside. We had dinner there and I loved it but my wife didn't particularly like her main course which she described as gluey. I can only think that it was a one off and I would definitely go back. The food was imaginative and the service was friendly and efficient. The bill was also very reasonable.

We had the set menu, and can say that food is good and interesting, with variations and creativity on a mostly Italian base. Service is professional and attentive, if a bit slow at times. I was not particularly impressed by the wine matching, but they have an impressive (Italian) wine list to choose from. Definitely worth a visit.

Le 54 is a small, pleasantly styled restaurant (about 24 couverts). Apart from having to choose from an Italy-oriented wine list, the only thing you need to decide is whether to opt for a three (38 Euro), four, or five-course (55 Euro) dinner. We opted for the full monty. Each dish, including the amuse, was refined and nicely presented. The only drawback was that the whole meal took about 3 hours. But given the quality of the dinner, we did not regret going to Le 54 and having to wait for so long. Reserving is recommended.

A bit out of town, but really well worth the journey!
Creativity, taste, beauty, surprise, these all words to describe that cooking.
The journey you will follow will be classical, atypical, new... a real treat!
The chef is young, friendly and likes to please others... you can feel it in his plates.

This is the best Bulgarian restaurant out of Bulgaria for sure. I must say that it can compete with the best restaurants IN Bulgaria as well. The food is as good as my grandma's food and the service is excellent!! I'll come back tomorrow and the day after and every time I visit Liege.

Nice location + very good food. We enjoyed our menu with lots of game + forest muschroom risotto. We appreciated the professional staff who managed very well and gave us good wine recommendations. The price quality ratio was very good

13 dishes + wine for about 100€ pp., in a clean, quiet place.
But 13 incredible dishes, with unique tastes and audacious mariages, all presented in an elegant, well-thought way. This is not just a lunch, it is an experience.
Service is perfectly timed, 2 hours for the 13 dishes. Amount of food is well thought, too : you eat very well, but not too much - not starving like you could in some high gastronomy places.
The chef choses fresh, local products to enhanced his meals.
Wine is perfectly chosen.
Staff is smiling, yet reserved.
The restaurant is lost in some old small village, about 20mins far from the nearest highway.
Advice : if you want a quiet place, prefer lunch during week days. If you're looking for a friday evening... make your reservation soon enough !
