La Cantina da Bruno, founded in the 1960 by Bruno and his wife Rosetta, has always been governed by the Poli family. Simplicity and passion, and with this combination Poli won their bet, reaching important goals, securing a loyal customer base and never tired of the house specialties. Gianni in the kitchen, Annalisa the pizzeria, Rosetta, the backbone is always present at the restaurant, flanked by daughter Angelita and all the staff are the real reason for the success of this establishment. In the kitchen among the specialties, the world famous Panzerotti with ham and soft cheese, we can find the cut of beef cooked in a wood oven, the Florentine, the typical tordelli di Camaiore, local seafood including Seafood Carbonara the Lighthouse of the Fisherman , delicious Crustaceans Catalan, mixed grills, only to end up with desserts all made in-house. Closed on duty all Thursday and Friday for lunch.
Seems like the locals really frequent this place - very traditional quaint restaurant. We had some amazing food here - simple but perfectly cooked and super affordable. This truly a hidden gem. We had my mom helping with the Italian but they had English menus. We had calamari (delicious), spaghetti with clams (amazing), carbonara and seafood carbonara (sublime). Mixed salad and cannelli beans were very nicely done.
Dessert was good with the tiramisu made my the grandmother of the restaurant that morning. They even served us complimentary dessert wine and hugged all of us on the way out. Truly felt part of their family. We will be back.

If you're looking for gourmet cuisine, eating in an outside patio adorned with lemon trees, tomatoes and other mediterrenean herbs, this is the place for you.
Despite the possibility of picking á la carte, I would definitely recommend choosing the daily Chef proposal which, at a price of 35€, offers many dishes, all prepared with the mastery of an experienced chef, at a very affordable price.
All the staff is extremely corteous and helpful in explaining the composition of the dishes offered.

We had here our dinner at the end of a shopping day in Forte dei Marmi. We arrived about at 8.30pm on a Sunday. Despite being in october there were people dining at the outside tables. The restaurant is mostly a fish restaurant with some meat dishes and pizzas. Simple and very friendly service. Both placemats and napkins made of paper.
I was with my boyfriend. He ordered mushrooms and ham pizza. I had pasta with fish sauce.
With 1 draft beer, one bottle of water, two coffees and one dessert, we paid €37.
Probably you can find some better restaurants in the nearby.

This little Tattoria is off the main track (even in Lucca!) and should be sought out. Food is good, house wine great and service efficient and polite. I had a steak which was cooked exactly as ordered served in a peppercorn sauce, others had Lasagna, chicken stew and Tortellini Ragu, all were decent portions, well cooked, simply presented and went well with the house wine. A hit with the locals, the wine is very reasonably priced. Food is slightly dearer than the surrounding restaurants, but, well justified. So will probably cost you an additional €5 per head but well worth the little extra. Been here a few times over the years, it seems to get better.

Food and drink is one of the pleasures of life, and that's why we want our hospitality and taste good food can make you remember us.
Our family, restaurateurs since 1972, has always offered a Mediterranean cuisine, inspired in search of local products, from which are our specialties. The restaurant has an indoor heated pool with 50 seats and wireless connection to surf the net at both inside and outside the room.

As well as in the inner room air-conditioned, in warmer weather you can dine outside on the square used as a restaurant that overlooks the waterfront. The outdoor area can accommodate up to a maximum of 40 seats.
It was better one time ..... but after two years has unfortunately changed in poorer side. Good staff lacks - Quality has to suffer. Its no more this money value.kind sir , I'm sorry we always try to improve quality offering and service at modest prices ... Come back here to find because surely change your mind ..thank you

Great Pizzeria made of three big rooms. The first room composed of eleven tables for boyfriends and families about 4 people. The second room composed of six tables for families about six people. The big third room composed of thirty tables for boys that celebrate birthdays and other.
After a bit of a disastrous meal experience in Pisa the previous night, by the time we got to Lido Di Camaiore we were rather hungry and couldn't face trying to order anything fancy in Italian.
This pizzeria was close to our hotel and had good ratings on TA so we called in and were greeted warmly and shown to a table.
Beers and a couple of extremely large pizzas later we were highest satisfied with our choice ... not just because the food was excellent but we got what we ordered with no fuss or confusion!
Had we been staying longer I think we would have returned for more.

Seating upfront or on side garden. Small, focused menu. Nice wine list. A refuge from the large touristy places. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Also has beach, so take advantage of renting loungers/chairs and umbrella and then having lunch.

The Esplanade Restaurant is housed in a beautiful luxury four-star Art Nouveau-style, on the Promenade of Viareggio.Near the sea and the beautiful pinewood, the restaurant Esplanade is the ideal location for receptions, banquets and elegant and romantic dinners.
I loved the tuna, gnocchi with chicory/speck/gorgonzola, spaghetti carbonara, salami platter, pork tenderloin with lardo, broccoli, lemoncella, red wines, croissants at breakfast, and most of all the wonderful service and special attention I received without fail. Molto Buono! Grazie!
