Recently got BBQ takeout from Scott's for the first time in quite a while. It was very moist without being fatty and had that great pit BBQ flavor that can't be beat. The only negative is the beans they use to make their baked beans were hard and the mayonnaise slaw was dry. Otherwise 5-star.

Recently our home town Dairy Queen changed owners. It has been down hill every since. First off, they removed local favorites that have been served here for years; like the Twin Burger, Jim Dandy and Little cheeseburgers just to mention a few. I haven't gone back for several weeks, but rumor had it that some of the old favorites were back.
Today I stopped in for a quick lunch to go. This location has never been fast which I always thought was funny since they are considered 'Fast Food'. Today was no exception, slow as always. I ordered the Little cheeseburger combo to go. As I began to eat, I quickly discovered the bread was old and not fresh at all. The burgers were slightly warm, but no where near the temp they used to be. The fries were cooked sometime yesterday! All in all it was the pits!
I worked at this same location as my first job in high school. We had Strict orders to Visually inspect each order before serving it and if the fries looked old or cold, we were to sample them. If it was not something we would eat ourselves, we best not serve it!
Obviously this is not their standard of quality anymore. It is sad to loose a Home Town favorite, but I will not be back!

Our server was well-intentioned and the price of our meal for two including large coffees was less than $12. My husband liked his sandwich, and my breakfast was hot, but that's the best I can say. Our food was slow coming, during which time we suffered from overhearing the redneck "joke" remarks from the customers seated at the counter, and everything was served in and on Styrofoam with plastic ware utensils. Maybe lunch would be a good bet with more customers and general conversation.

We have two Mexican restaurants in Lexington and both have good food. The main difference is the price, Atzimba is quite a bit cheaper than Las Portales and the food quality isn’t noticeably different.
Atzimba has failed to leave off onions or peppers on my order before but most any restaurant makes mistakes from time to time.

Ate here 4-30-16 evening meal. After we were seated they brought us hushpuppy, they were delicious. We ordered hamburger steaks, mine with baked potato and my husband FF and a salad. Steaks were both very good, they pat them out, there not frozen. Friendly staff and clean restaurant.

Great little lunch spot... The burgers are big and juicy and there's lots of food but it's not necessarily cheap. That being said, you don't feel cheated because their portions are substantial... They also have seafood which is fresh as they make regular runs to pick it up from the coast...

I love eating at The Lunch Box. Some of the best sandwiches you will find anywhere. Be brave and let them pick for your with the "Surprise Me" sandwich. The homemade sauces and accents make the meal.

I went to Smoke & Spuds last weekend with my fiancée and future Mother in Law. The food was absolutely amazing! The ribs, the BBQ Mac and Cheese, and Aunt Beth's Baked Beans are probably my favorite items on the menu. The restaurant is small and family owned, and it has genuine hospitality that you can't beat anywhere. As a native born and raised, BBQ eating Memphian, I have tried a lot of BBQ in my life but Smoke & Spuds definitely ranks at the top. And the sauce is AMAZING!!!!
I will Smoke & Spuds a regular stop every time I come to Lexington. You should definitely try it for yourself. I cannot recommend it enough! Thank you again for the amazing food and I will be back soon!
