Levidi (Greek: Λεβίδι) is a small town and a former municipality in Arcadia, Peloponnese, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Tripoli, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 312.641 km. The town is situated on the northeastern slope of the Mainalo mountains, at about 850 m elevation. While the Mainalo is densely forested, the plains towards the northeast contain farmlands. Levidi is 9 km northwest of Kapsas, 10 km east of Vytina, 12 km southwest of Kandila and 20 km northwest of Tripoli. It is at the junction of the Greek National Road 74 (Tripoli–Pyrgos) and the Greek National Road 66 (Levidi - Nemea). Levidi was the site of several battles during the Greek War of Independence from the Ottoman Empire.

A very decent restaurant on the foothills of Mt Mainalon on the road to great destinations like Dimitsana, Vytina and Stemnitsa.
The single most noteworthy aspect of Sunset is the fantastic chicken soup that is offered (compliments of the chef) to all customers. It really hits the spot. The food includes generous portions of Greek local specialties, as well as pasta and US and Italian-influenced dished. I bet the owner of the Sunset once owned or worked at a restaurant in the US, otherwise there is no way to explain the likes of "taco salad" in the foothills of Arcadia!
I have been visiting Sunset for years, and my only regret is that the original restaurant (it included a wonderful garden with a playground for children) was torn down a few years ago, and replaced with a large kitschy building mainly suited for social occasions (weddings, etc). Fortunately the chef is the same!

We stopped for lunch.
They where very fast and the dishes where clean. Nothing to complain about.
It's a simple and good GREEK taverna.
It is based on a plateia (square) of the village, so for us with small kids it was convenient cause we could relax while the kids where running around...
there where stray dogs around, but they where not bothering anyone...if you ask me cats are worst.
I recommend this place if you're in the neighborhood:-)

Went to this restaurant at the recommendation of our hotel. Boy, are we glad they told us. It is located a short distance outside of Levidi in a beautiful , relaxing setting. Owners were friendly, food was delicious, portions were ample, and prices were good. Food is prepared by the owner's mother. Both my husband and I had the Melitzanes (eggplant) and it was excellent. We also enjoyed a Horiatiki salad with a huge piece of feta cheese on top. At the end of the meal, they served us complimentary halvah. We would definetely return to this restaurant for authentic Greek cooking.

Had a delicious Christmas dinner. Visited this unique traditional restaurant with friends. Five families with children 5-10 and had marvelous time. Beautiful decoration, excellent service, and warm friendly atmosphere. Outside -4'C winter forest night, but inside many smiling faces, enjoy memorable dishes complemented with ruby red wine. We come here for more than 15 years and every time you feel it gets better!

Old fashioned, traditional setting with a vintage wood stove. Decorated with old family photos, furniture and rugs. Everything is produced by Efrosyni herself. Efrosyni is an avid chess player and welcomes a good game with a willing client! Non-smoking.

In 2007 two young people, Nikos and Kiki, decided to take a step towards decentralization, to escape the intense stress of Athens and opened a restaurant in Nikos homeland Vlacherna. The Restaurant named "Stou oneirou mou to Steki" and it's exactly what the name says. A dream's meeting place...

My husband and I visited Skourkos twice and enjoyed the food and service very much! The pizza was really exceptional and the wait staff was friendly! We had the same waiter both days, and he was very sweet, spoke great English, and even helped us with our Greek!
