Shealy's Barbecue is much more than just a great barbecue restaurant. They have the best fried chicken, especially pulley bones, I have eaten. Their buffet also includes hash, fried fat back, the best green beans and creamed corn ever, rice and white gravy, macaroni and cheese, as well as many other vegetables that change from day to day. I love their collards when they have them! There is also a large salad bar that includes many fresh vegetables, as well as several ready made salads and slaws. Included with the price of the buffet is also a large dessert bar with seveal different home made desserts to choose from. There's also soft serve ice cream in vanilla and chocolate! All of this, plus your beverage,is included in the price of the buffet, which is very reasonable. I love Shealy's!!!

Portions are huge and their prime rib is so delicious.Their sandwiches are huge and I love their wing chips. They have a nice salad bar, and free popcorn if you like while you wait.

After reading the reviews about the curt gray haired lady with glasses at the register and unfriendly waitresses but GOOD food, we gingerly went in and were pleasantly surprised! (Kaitlin, caitlin, katelin sp) waited on us. She was great!! ...and friendly!! All the servers that ran food to our table were courteous. I got the stuffed flounder special. It wasn't my preferrence but it was good. My hub got blackened sea bass and his was way better than mine. Our meals came with salad and a side and YUMMY loaf of bread!! We also ordered the fried green tomatoes app. We both drank water. Our tab was $50 we left a $10 tip. Nobody told us whether to pay server or mean gray haired lady. We just left the cash on the table to duck out without drama. Maybe the gray haired lady was there and we just didnt deal with her!! Lol. But, we didn't have an unpleasant experience. Its a little pricey for the area - but it saves the drive to Columbia!! We try to frequent locally owned businesses and opt for unique quaint restaurants! I would go again!!

Very unpleasant experience today. I drove 45 minutes to pick up BBQ for Mothers Day from Jackie Hite's, which I've heard about for a long time. The person was very rude when I walked in and said they were closed and would not serve me, even take out. This was between 2:45 and 2:50, and the stated hours go through 3:00. I'm glad there is good BBQ just down the road at Shealy's. I'd recommend skipping Hite's and going to Shealy's instead.

Angelo's is our granddaughter's favorite and she wants every birthday dinner there. We had 22 people in the back room and 1 fantastic waitress (Wish I could remember her name!) for her 13th birthday last week. Food was served fast and piping hot. The Spanakopita and Greek salad is my favorite. The portions of pasta are enough for leftovers. Twice!

Good tasting food without the price of the hibachi show of upscale Japanese restaurants.
Ordered the beef, chicken, shrimp, carrots with a side of zucchini and onions.
Ordered the scallops and mushrooms, rice, carrots.
Also ordered teriyaki chicken, broccoli, rice and fountain drinks and tea.
Everything was good for all of us with the exception of the very sweet can tasting carrots.
Having fresh cooked carrots without added sugar would improve the taste of the meals.

What can you say about a Waffle House? The menu's are all the same, the food prepared the same, and prices are the same. I eat at this particular location more often than others, more so due to it's location, and find it better than average. Better in that the manager runs a tight ship, the place is kept clean, the employees work, and are generally friendly. All to often I have been in Waffle House's where the employees seem discontent, lazy, found dirty tables and floors, and filthy restrooms. Kind of a truck stop enviroment that I would not take my family to. Not so here....my family and I have/do enjoy eating here!

We came here after just spotting it while driving by. It's a fun, cheerful looking place, quite busy. The staff was attentive, quick, and friendly. The food was very good. I will be back. It's nice to find a place this good nearby.

You would not expect exceptional food at the 378 Traffic Circle....but this place caught us totally by surprise. We were famished and had to get something to eat. What a surprise this place was! It is decorated with the charm and flair of a 50's diner. The menus, table tops and bathrooms were immaculate....a sure sign of attention to the basics in a well managed restaurant. The food is excellent, we had their equivalent of a chef salad and chicken tenders. Everything was fresh, chilled and enough for two. My only fear is that this place will fail....their prices are too low...but in fairness, I am comparing prices to Sonoma, Napa, Charleston, etc. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly and the other clientele we encountered were also friendly local people.
