I was in the area on business and came upon this attractive restaurant in an area barren of other non-chain restaurant and/or appealing options. The restaurant is attractive with the feel of a refined stable/ barn, beams, exposed wood and faux stone. I was just stopping for a small lunch and the menu offered quite enough options. I inquired about the Chilli and was told it is made in house and very popular. I opted out of the bread bowl for the Chili and was served in a ceramic bowl. This was some of the best Chilli I have had in years and if in the area I would go out of my way just for another bowl. The Chilli was quite filling so I packed the breaded Chicken steak sandwich. The place was packed partly because it is one of the only reasonable choices in the area and I am sure also because all their food is good as was the friendly service. It all came off with out a Hitch and I was pleasantly surprised at the good experience.

Their ice cream is good and the lemon Italian ice is one of my favorites. Nice little family owned place. You might have to stand in line, they get quite busy. Not open in the winter, so it is always fun to look forward to the opening in spring.

First I have to say I love eating at diners. The food is usually good and inexpensive. This was a very good place. We went for lunch and I ended up having breakfast. Omelet was ok, but they did get the potatoes just right. They had scrapple which I love and it was great.
I would eat here again.

Good Italian food and great people. Try the pizza and come back for a sandwich. Buffalo chicken salad is my favorite

The food was good, bar food. It was late and I didn't want anything too crazy, but was craving wings and mozzarella sticks, so i got the appetizer sampler which had both in addition to some sort of corn poppers. Despite being unsure of them at first, they were my favorite thing, but I'll pass on the maple syrup they came with.
The biggest problem I had was that it was really loud. We weren't in the bar area either, but you could have fooled me the way the people at the table next to us were carrying on. I'm not saying I want dead silence, but it'd have been nice to hear what my boyfriend was saying since he was sitting directly across from me.

We went for breakfast after not visiting was a long time. We were so please with the food and service we went back about a week later. They couldn't do enough for you, we will not wait so long to go back.

Every time we pass this diner it's always busy and know I know why.
We finally stopped for dinner on a recent Wednesday night and although they were busy, we were able to get a booth without waiting. Our waitress was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. Speaking of, the menu is so large you may have trouble deciding on what to order. We both finally decided on the Chicken Breast and it was delicious. The salad bar offered plenty of choices; the refrigerated plates were a nice unexpected touch!
When we were leaving, we noticed the 'specials' board in the breezeway that we somehow didn't notice on the way in. That night they had offered Shepherd's Pie and we both would've ordered that if we knew about it. I wish our waitress had mentioned the specials, but we'll remember to check them out the next time we dine here.
They did a beautiful job on the remodel; everything is shiny and bright. And spotlessly clean. The service was excellent, prices are reasonable, portions are large. Can't wait to come back!

My wife and I went to play putt putt at schells. The staff was very nice and the 27 hole mini golf was very challenging and enjoyable. I went here many years ago as a child and now returned as an adult and had just as much fun!

Our menu includes favorite dishes from coastal regions and is specifically designed to create a wide appeal by offering an exciting mix of seafood and non-seafood items. From appetizers to entrees the menu offers a diverse range of flavors from traditional to bold that are certain to satisfy a wide variety of tastes. In a world being dominated by your typical chain restaurant you will find Coastal Grille to be a refreshing change.
I have eaten here probably over a dozen times. We went tonight 2-6. We got sat immediately. We then had 1 waitress who came by, told us the specials and took our drink order. Soon we had another waiter who told us he was taking over. This is when it went downhill. Example, I asked about the King Crab legs, and how is it? His answer was most of it is good. Most of it? My wife asked for her tuna rare and blackened. He then asked her 2 more times how she would like it done while taking the order. I also got a Ceaser salad with anchovies. We also asked for 2 waters. Time went by and no waters. Had to ask someone else. Got the Ceaser no anchoives, no waiter asked someone else to get it. Got our entrees. My wifes tuna was hardly blackened but she gave up trying to find the waiter, and just ate it. She said it was not good. My king crab legs, came with a cracker, a small fork, but not a smaller pick etc to get the meat out of the narrow parts. I also only got a smaller piece of lemon. This is when I found out what the waiter meant. Most of it was good, parts of it was overcooked. So I guess he was honest. The sides where good. We also got the desert special that bourbon bread pudding. Not taste of bourbon, and was not good, but at least it was free as I had a birthday coupon for it. My wife figured out that the waiter had tables across from us, that he was always at, but seemed to forget us. My wife said, we have some really good meals but some not so good, and the service is too inconsistant so she said we are done. I suggested if you get the cheaper items on the menu, like the fish and chips they seem to be good. Explore the higher price items and it seems hit or miss. Also one thing that bothered me. I saw my waiter restocking the paper goods in the bathroom. To me a waiter handling food, should not be doing that. Especially a waiter that seemed to be missing our table.
