I thought I'd stop by to see what all the hype was about, especially when I heard burger buffs were driving 40 mins out of DC to come eat here. It didn't disappoint, and I've come three time since. For your first time, try the Tex Med burger, and come by after 7:30 when the dinner crowd has died down.

My wife and I were visiting our oldest daughter and decided to do lunch at our favorite place in Leesburg. Always good. I ordered the corn chowder and loved it. We both got the chicken salad salad and it was large and good. Bread with olive oil hit the spot too.

My husband eat here every time we are craving homemade pizza. This place is consistently delicious, which is a hard thing to achieve for a lot of restaurants. The ingredients are always fresh, the service is always friendly, and the beer list is always long :) It can get pretty busy during peak hours as it's fairly small so if you can, try to get there 15-20 minutes before peak lunch or dinner time. Highly recommend this place!

Went for an early dinner and it was great. The soup was hot and very good. We had multiple people serving us so the service was great. Was in town for Christmas and was a very nice dinner. Had the filet and it was outstanding tender cooked to perfection.

Oh my gosh, this is now my favorite restaurant to have lunch with the girls at. My favorite is the hamburger with the brown sugar bacon and pimento cheese (their pimento cheese is scrumptious). Their burgers are fresh, have been cooked to perfection and are so large, you can split one with a friend. Love their appetizers too; very unique!

Were celebrating husband's birthday. Space is very very small, so not sure if you can just go walk-ins. Small place and small menu options. But our food was very good and nice presented on a plate. the weakest point was dessert. nothing spacial (both pastry chefs, so hard to please:). little bit on expansive side but not ridiculous.

I have had the pleasure of dining at Lightfoot several times, and have yet to be disappointed. The ambiance is phenomenal, the service outstanding and the food, just pure perfection. I haven’t been disappointed yet. So blessed that we live in close proximity as it’s always been my go-to for very special occasions!

We found South Street Under in an online search for best places for breakfast in Leesburg. A Loudon County restaurant site listed this restaurant in the top 5, so we decided to give it a try. After our visit, I'm still not sure how they got that ranking. This restaurant has no breakfast menu, neither online or on site, and all they offer are egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches with your choice of meat and bread, and some pastry options.
However, we enjoyed our visit very much, mostly due the wonderful outdoor seating under trellis roofing and sail shades. The courtyard is nice, there is soft music in the background, and comfortable chairs. You go in and order at the counter and one of their staff brings your order to you. I should also note that the bathrooms are quite nice and were very clean.
The pricing of simple sandwiches is on the high side. The baked items were really good, but the breakfast sandwiches were pretty average and the coffee was quite ordinary, even plain.
If you're a dog lover, dogs are welcomed by the owners -- they even put out water bowls for them. The place was full of geriatric bicyclists, presumably passersby on the nearby Old Dominion Rail Trail.
We'll be back... not for breakfast anytime soon, but for lunch or afternoon cake. And you'll find us outdoors, and under... at the Under.

King Street Oyster Bar specializes in bringing fresh oysters from both the West and East Coasts of the US and Canada to the communities we call home. On any given day, we offer 10+ varieties, which we get no more than 24 hours out of water from the East Coast, and no more than 48 hours out of water from the West Coast. It's a quality and freshness you can taste. Our menu also offers other creative seafood dishes and American-style fare with fresh, relatable ingredients, and a happy hour menu every day of the week with inventive cocktails, craft brews and select food and oysters.
Located in downtown Leesburg the restaurant is built into an old building with a dining room up front, kitchen in the middle and a patio out back. Not as big as the location in Middleburg, but the food is just as good and the prices are reasonable. We had the best server who was not only fast and on the spot, but friendly and gave us several ideas of things to do in the are while we had guests in town. The only downer of the evening was the hostess. She seemed very frustrated and was downright rude a couple of times when we were waiting for a table. There isn't much of a waiting area and she kept moving us from place to place and was not happy about it. Oh well, the food and our server made up for it. I'll be there again.

Love the tacos here. We've gotten numerous different flavors and meats and never had a bad one. Love the pickled onions and the salsa Verde! Plus it's in a great old building that feels like you're right in Mexico.
