My college roommate and I had not been together in over a year. She lives in the area, so she made reservations for us and our husbands. What an enjoyable evening. The service was great. The dinner was excellent. Two different steaks and two different seafood dishes and they were all excellent. My only comment to the owners is that the tables could be bigger for 4 people.
We will definitely be back!

Gronsky's is a classic casual breakfast joint - no frills and huge portions. The pancakes are larger than the plates they're served on, and the omelettes are the size of your thigh. Don't come here expecting anything fancy or refined; this place is for breakfast, not brunch. And don't expect Todd to turn around and smile if you say hi. Wait your turn (there will be a line out the door on the weekends), order your food, and then stuff your face.

I have passed this place many times and it's jam packed and after reading all good reviews, we decided to check it out on a hot sunny Day.. Again, packed parking lot which made me super excited.. Thing I love abt them is unlimited topping choices and price but I think this place way over rated..Our ice cream was good but I had much better ice cream in many places.. For me this place is So So..extra point to them for not being stingy with my berry and walnut toppings!!!

We have the food at King Tut whenever that Middle Eastern Food urge hits us. The people are very friendly with great service. We have had the Hummus, Babaganoush, Spinach Pie, Calamari, Chicken Kabobs, and Grilled Kofta (off the top of my head) and they were all very good, with large portions. There is always extra to take home. There are some traditional desserts, and we have enjoyed the Baklava

Cryan's is a very hospitable public house nestled in beautiful Hunterdon County, NJ. My friends and I stopped there for lunch on a hunch and were not disappointed. The Irish-themed restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere and the staff is quite friendly and helpful. All of us in our party was happy with our lunches and the fine selection of draught beers. As you would expect, my Guinness pour was excellent! All in all, a most enjoyable outing and I would not hesitate to go back.

We discovered Sweet Melissa Patisserie a few months after it opened in 2016. It has gone from a quiet, wonderful. pastry ambrosia to a busier, high demand restaurant. The owners really care about quality as you can easily tell from their fresh baked croissants (plain, chocolate or almond) to crullers to die for.(my favorite has a raspberry light, but powerful frosting). They also have a wide variety of mini-pies (key lime, banana cream, and others) that are exquisitely prepared. The toppings are not standard fare, but always interesting. They have a small number of tables (8 or so) that can be crowded on weekend mornings, and you can always take-away items from the counter. In summer, this also includes ice cream. Melissa also makes wonderful marshmallows (one's you have not seen since your grandmother made them)--soft, with just the right amount of bounce back. I have also sampled her homemade granola, which is quite good. Quiche Lorraine is a standard items on her menu and very tasty, with a salad accompaniment. There is always a quiche of the day as well. One of my favorite specials is the cinnabun pancakes that are unlike any pancake (and I have tasted hundreds as a pancake lover) I have ever eater--tangy, sweet, but not over the top. Sweet Melissa is a wonderful edition to the Clinton, Lebanon region.

spent the day in clinton nj at the red mill village...nice christmas tree display the hunterdon museum...in between stopped for lunch and asked the locals.....clean plate was recommended....beautiful day by the river though we ate inside...great service...and a shrimp stir fry with crisp vegetable on black rice that was just outstanding... as to the desserts we requested in house desserts and were offered a pear/cream/chia seeds combo...delicious refreshing and healthful.....the chocolate avocado dessert would have been just as good as it been a tad sweeter.....but overall the food was good and would recommend for a plate to stop and eat

Juniper Hill is the vision of Chef/Owner Josh DeChellis and his wife Jennifer. It is a modern rustic restaurant and bar serving simple and seasonal food prepared with the best offerings from nearby farms and carefully chosen purveyors. Chef DeChellis' menu blends ingredients from around the world to deliver food you can feel good about eating. The menu changes frequently and features appetizers and entrees, as well as a selection of small plates for sharing. The Bar at Juniper Hill, separated by the main room by a barn door, is adorned with a wall of open-air windows and a fireplace -- a perfect spot for enjoying coffee or cocktails. Our strong locally roasted coffee is available throughout the day, as is a large selection of craft spirits and wine, specialty cocktails and craft beer and wine on tap. Juniper Hill is conveniently located 1 mile from I 78 and Rte 31, in Clinton Township - Hunterdon County.
Wonderful food and drinks. Decor is excellent, menu is exciting. Lovely outdoor area and a cool table inside a former bank safe for large groups. Can't wait to go back!

I stopped in for a quick sandwich on a late Sunday afternoon. It's located in the heart of historic downtown Clinton. It's not the most updated deli on the planet and the refrigerator holding the soft drinks could be newer, but they can make subs with the best of them. There is a huge sign hanging from the ceiling advertising their approximately 44 subs. I don't think that included their hot heros.
You have the option of ordering a half or a whole. I ordered the half and it was plenty. Trust me, I can eat with the best of them. I ordered the boiled ham, capicola, and cheese sub (#17). There was a very generous portion of cold cuts and the bread was fresh. That was the perfect combo of meats to make it tasty. There was much more meat than bread and I'm a fan of that. I give it very high marks. There is also a great selection of chips to go as a side. I would go back here in a second. Prices were very fair. Service was fast and friendly. This place is the reason why I always go to a locally owned deli and not a chain.
