We have been going to Jardin Del Ray for over 5 years. Service has always been great, with courteous/efficient wait staff and food delivered promptly. Food is consistently good. Prices are about average, I believe. Even when the parking lot looks full, we usually do not have to wait long. It is a little loud most times.

Blue Corn Harvest is a farm to table restaurant located in Cedar Park. We support local farmers by purchasing as much as we can from the local Cedar Park Farmers Market and other farmers in the area.
The Blue Corn restaurant is one our go-to restaurants in the area. It has a relaxed, easy going, vibrant atmosphere that is great for couples and families alike. We love this place.
Blue-Corn has a super American-tex-mex-southern mixture of a menu, featuring many local ingredients and fresh flavors! The menu is fairly big with plenty of delicious options to choose from. They have a full bar featuring plenty of cocktails, local beers and of course wine.
For appetizers, I recommend the Chile con quest and ground ribeye, Chile shrimp quesadilla, and the New Mexico pork verde.
For main course, I recommend the Tinga chicken relents, blue crab stuffed chicken (yum!), heirloom ruby trout or the chipotle ribeye!
Actually I should stop - because you really cannot go wrong with anything on the menu.
The restaurant has a super happy hour 5-7pm, with great drink specials and half-price appetizers. Invariably we go for happy hour and end up staying a lot longer :-)
I highly recommend this restaurant in the Cedar Park area!!
my compliments to Chefs Manzano and Garcia for this restaurant.

I regularly buy the kolaches and I've tried their donuts and it's all good. They give quick, efficient service and prices are reasonable.

Excellent seafood in an obscured location in Cedar Park, Texas. Jumbo shrimp fresh from the Gulf Coast, glorious oysters, and fresh fish! I highly recommend this restaurant for all seafood lovers out there!

Always a quality product. Especially enjoy the jumbo jalapeno sausage kolaches. Apple fritters are a favorite along with their breakfast tacos. We always pick up food to go from Super Donut when we have visitors in town for breakfast.

I've been here twice now. Both times service was friendly, but very slow and forgetful. The first time we went (several months ago) food came out cold and wasn't accurate. This visit (hoping it would be better) the food came out disappointing. Great location, clean inside and out, just wish after reading other reviews, that are more positive, that I could say we have had similar experiences. Unfortunately, I can't say I'd ever go back.

After reading all the glowing reviews, we decided to give F2F a try last night before a show at the Leander Off Broadway Community Players Theatre next door.
The restaurant is very small and there's not much room to wait for a table without being in the way. We waited in the parking lot, even though it was really hot. It wasn't too long of a wait, thankfully.
We were seated and ordered drinks. Their wain pours seem pretty small for $9/glass, but maybe it's just the glasses they use. We ordered the Freedom Fries for the table and they were delicious. Really delicious. They weren't serving burgers or hotdogs last night– perhaps due to what they were able to get in yesterday? They were also out of potato salad and a few other things.
When our food came, it was all very good. A few of us had ordered sandwiches and the others had salads. My hub liked his salad, my daughter was underwhelmed with hers. The sandwiches were all very good. I was a bit bewildered by the sides. They arrived in the baskets in these little cups with lids with the contents written on top. Not sure what it's all about, but it seems like maybe they're pre-portioned and reheated on demand? It just seemed really odd for a place where everything else is so fresh. The chips are also not made in house (Lays, I believe).
The bacon truffle mac and cheese is a tad on the salty side, but excellent. If you're not a fan of white truffle salt, skip it. If you love it, then make sure to order it. It's a little pricey, but tasty.
The desserts are fantastic. We had three: the lemon raspberry, red velvet, and chocolate chocolate chip. All were excellent. But sadly, they were out of bread pudding.
Everything we had was very good, but it was pretty expensive. We all enjoyed our meals: an appetizer, sandwiches/salads (two sandwiches from the kids' menu), a couple drinks, and dessert. Cost was over $100 before tax/tip. A little spendy, but the quality was excellent. My only real complaint was the little containers with the side dishes.
We will probably return, and hopefully next time they'll have burgers!

The Good: Very friendly small town feeling. Nice old house with outdoor porch. Nice family story that we’d like to support. Very clean.
The not so good: Everything was so expensive for what was. I had the Brazil Bowl w/ chicken. It would have been a “nice” dish at 1/2 the price. At the price I paid it was upsetting.
We tried to keep our hopes high and tried a couple of the bakery items. We wanted to try some Portuguese specialties. And paid the $4 and $3 each. Nothing special.
I’m sorry. We want to support local businesses, and especially a family business. But we won’t be back.
For a quiche & salad and the Brazil bowl we paid about $28......and we left hungry....even after the bakery items.
I need to go home and get something to eat now. Bye.

Thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant tonight. I ordered the Pork chop which was excellent! Service was prompt food was delicious. I like the place because it is smaller and it’s quieter so I was able to hear everyone talking. The chicken and grits that my husband got were also delicious. Highly recommended!

On our last night in Austin, my wife offered to let me have Texas BBQ one last time before we headed back to Colorado. Being in Leander, I didn't want to drive further south, so daughter's BF suggested Smokey Moe's which was only a mile or so away.
You order at the counter, like other BBQ places, but without the "attitude" of another we visited. I had a three meat plate, ribs, brisket and sausage. Sides were beans, potato salad and I added an excellent creamed corn. Ribs were excellent, brisket good but not great, and the sausage got high marks. I couldn't get over how good the creamed corn was.
All in all a solid BBQ dinner, and I would go back.
