This is my fourth or fifth visit to Patras in as many years and this was another memorable visit.
This time, we came to pre celebrate my daughters' birthdays with family and friends.
We all had apéritif, mains, coffee and dessert and I can only describe the experience as yummy!! I had the Délice de Pastre. The lamb was tender, the gratin was creamy..... The girls had the kid's menu and loved the homemade chicken 'nuggets'.
Patras provided a homemade birthday cake which we devoured.
All in all, the service is second to none. Nothing is a problem. I totally understand why Patras has been there years.
I'm going back as soon as I'm on my next holidays!

Great location to enjoy a drink during the day and watch the kids race up and down on the button lift. We have eaten here many times in our last 3 visits. Offers great selection of continental food and local mountain dishes including Raclette and Tartiflette. Nice staff and nice atmosphere, good food and reasonably priced. The hot chocolate with Chantilly cream went down very well (as did the cold beer served in frosted glass on the the hot days.

The restaurants mood is local and the staff is very friendly. But my friend and I went for the raclette. Minimum 2 persons and 25€ per person, you expect a proper mountain delight. That is not the case. Cheap cheese and small portions, which you could find anywhere in a French supermarket for 1/4 of the price.
My friend went for the tartiflette which was very poor as well (over-cooked potatoes turning into mash). The croziflette was not the best either.
The quality has drastically changed from one year to another. Now it’s an expensive cheap restaurant.

Up the horrendously steep Col du Noyer from the N85 at the entry to Le Devoluy sits the Refuge, the place once visited by Napoleon on his trek inland. It's only open in the summer and the Col itself is closed in Winter. It's a great resto and cafe to eat or just have a drink. Good service, basic but good meals and superb views. The owner is usually on hand and can also be seen in the ski season wearing his red outfit as an ESF monitor. We've visited the Refuge many times over the 13 years we have had a second home in the Devoluy and it has never disappointed.

Mountain restaurant with big Terrace, squared VIP, solarium, DJ, meats in the barbecue, the great atmosphere
Excellent coffee stop, a little more expensive than bottom of slopes but fantastic music. Resident D.J. always has good selection of tunes and mixes tracks of old and new - brilliant. Has skiers dancing on seats under brilliant Sunshine, next to snow park where you can watch skiers and snowboarders doing tricks etc.

Great place to eat after a morning or afternoon of skiing. Fantastic service, very quick and good quality food and drink. Paninis, crepes, frites and vin chaud were superb! Highly recommend!

We went for a lunch with 2 adults and 5 children's.
Expecting to eat a fondue de fromage, but we couldn't as it was before 14:30??? In a ski domain you expect to be able to lunch at 13:00. And why you don't serve tour most topic dish?
OK we had steak and the children pizza, steak was great and a good portion 2 20 great ( you can choose a larger one).
We asked for no olives in the pizza and we got olives on all the pizza .
I do speak fluent french, so it is not misunderstanding, it is not paying attention.
If you are in Superdevoluy go eat upon the slopes, same food, more gentle.

My sister and I had lunch on Valentine's day. She had a salad and I had the local plate of fried ravioli and potato dumplings with honey. The meal on the outside Terrace was excellent. We then had the café gourmand a cup of coffee with a trio of desserts that were sublime. Thank goodness we had a 5km hike to my sister's chalet to work the weight off.
The service was friendly and the price was reasonable for the quality of the food.
