As a photographer I just loved this place , the boats the harbour, the heathers and the Mountains all made for a pleasant stop , unfortunately we did not eat here but it was busy and the pints looked great. Desmond Daly Photography.

We stayed in Sneem for the first time last weekend, just for 2 nights, but will definitely be back. we ate in O'Sheas pub on 3 occasions, what fabulous food, the fisherman's pie was amazing, my husband is still talking about the lamb burger!!! Just 1 dish didn't live up to expectations a strange battered chicken fillet burger, it was never going to be good!!! Lovely cosy place with really friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

Ate at lunchtime and had the fish and chips with mushy peas. The fish was beautiful and very fresh. There was fresh lemon and homemade sauce. Cost as advertised 10 euros. A very good meal, freshly prepared and served hot. The views from the conservatory are also delightful.

Have had many meals at Barbara O'Connor's Village Kitchen and never been served a bad meal. My favorite is the full Irish breakfast and The Village Kitchen does it proper. Highly recommend breakfast and/or lunch - you can not go wrong.

We stopped in the cute town of Sneem to take a break from driving around the Ring of Kerry and decided to try some homemade ice cream. It was incredible ice cream...rich, creamy and fantastic flavors. Young Rory, son of the owner and a lovely, young French girl waited on our group and let us try some flavors. They were friendly and patient with us despite the long line. Afterwards, when we had driven about 90 minutes from Sneem, we discovered that we had left an expensive rain hat in Annie's. We contacted the owner who was so wonderful and helpful. She even offered to try and find someone driving into Killarney to bring us the hat or post it for us to the USA! Fantastic ice cream, wonderful people--a must visit if you're traveling the Ring of Kerry!
